Nor only was the food authentic, but it was also large portioned! Service and atmosphere were welcoming. Excellent horchata. And amazing tequilla mule. I would recommend this place, as often I'm going to return .. Once a week! Amazing!

We are new to the area and my husband tried this restaurant the week before. It’s authentic Latin cuisine.

This place gets worse everytime me and my coworkers visit. We keep trying to give it another chance because it use to be our favorite spot to have lunch. Managment changed and now the prices are higher...plates smaller...and the food is not as good. I really wish they would get it together since it's less than 5 mins away from my job. If negative stars were a option that would be my choice for this restaurant.

Chips and salsa is good! Classic Margarita was delicious! Food was ok.

Love love! I started with the Sauvignon Blanc wine which was Exquisite and chilled perfectly. For dinner, I had the chimichanga with ground beef which has got to be the best one ever! Being a native Texan, I crave this kind of food and this hit the spot! You can't beat the service! Just go!

Amazing, authentic Latin flavor! I had a chicken dish, and it was the most succulent chicken I have ever had.

I was there yesterday with my husband and we both liked the food (seafood). Our first impression was pretty nice. The service was amazing and the environment was quiet and peaceful. This place was well-decorated and colourful, music was joyful, althought the food was the best. We truly recommend this restaurant. Lastly, but no less important, new administrators were son kind and attentive.

Great Mexican food. The BEST Plantains, I order them every visit. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, always a great meal, many selections on menu, have tried a new entree at every visit, never disappointed..

Prices are fair, presentation and food quality are excellent and service was awesome. Highly recommended place to eat.

This is a great place to eat! Especially wine Wednesday, half off bottles. The service was great, and just a nice casual place to find your favorite Latin cuisine.

My first time in El Paraiso was in 2006 when Mr. Jose and wife used to cook. The food was way better than today. I loved the pupusas because they had a lot of cheese or mixed. Now, they are mainly dough and not flavor. Same happen with the dishes. So sad!.

Very much one of the best Latin restaurants in the area. The food was fantastic and out in a timely manner. Prices were very reasonable, especially on the lunch menu. Lots of parking, lots of space for big groups. Friendly and attentive servers made this place definitely one to come back to. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for some chow.

Probably the best Latin American restaurant in all of greater Charlotte. This little gem serves family friendly, but authentic Latin American fare. The food is really fresh with high quality ingredients. I've lived in Texas and New Mexico and can say this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever tried. The service is super friendly without feeling rushed and they have a great and extensive kids menu. You will also have the satisfaction of supporting a local family run restaurant and not some soulless chain restaurant.
