I frequent this gem of a restaurant quite often. The entire staff from the GM, Brendan, to the kitchen crew to the front of the house are all amazing at what they do. One always feels very welcome when they arrive and feels very satisfied when they depart. The craft cocktails from the bar, the food from the kitchen, and the service in between are always spot on! Cannot say enough good things about this establishment. By far my favorite restaurant in the area.
(Gluten free review- not so many options) Barrel & Fork used to me by go to restaurant. Anytime someone asked for a good place to eat Iād recommend it! Iād take my friends for my birthday bc the food is so good and they always had really good gluten free options.. the GF options have been less impressive last few times Iāve been.

Another favorite in Cornelius hidden inside an old house that is easy to miss as you drive by. Start in the bar area with amazing cocktails and wide selection of bourbon. The smoked old fashion is top notch. For is excellent as is the service. Everything on the menu is really good so explore things you may not see other places

Ordered the smash burger and it was raw. They took it back to cook but the second one only had one patty instead of 2. The Brussels sprouts were good and The flourless cake was great and so was the cheese cake with blueberry sauce. The atmosphere is nice, we had a reservation and we were seated immediately. The restaurant is in an older house with cool decor.

The smoking flowers at entrance are outstanding. The anniversary card is nothing Iāve ever seen and weāve been to much higher priced places than this. That was a very nice touch.
Iām not a drinker but we were right by the bar and they are amazing with the presentation of their drinks. My wife really enjoyed the drinks she got! If you like old fashions you really need to come here and give it a go. I canāt speak from experience but I can tell you there were people all around us and they were not quiet about how good they were.
The food was really good but I will say for the price Iāve had better. That being said weāll be back.
I will say that we got the desserts and weāll be passing on those in the future. It was basic and tasted ok but not worth getting again in my opinion. My wife loved the raspberry chai latte though. She said sheād definitely get it again.

Unfortunately, the food and drinks this visit didnāt quite match the high standards of past experiences. Hoping it was just an off night, because this has long been one of my favorite spots.

Mice maggots and cockroaches. Donāt really need to say much else. No chameleons though. Ac doesnāt work though! Owner allows his management to publicly slander people with disabilities. But leave a bad review and he threatens legal action. This place is a time bomb.

As a lot of recent reviews reflect, the atmosphere and service is great! However, the food for the price was lackluster. Iām fully prepared to pay $65 for a ribeye but itās gotta be cooked right. The broccolini side was undercooked/unseasoned and not tender. The wedges it came with were dry and did not have a single grain of salt. I left feeling a lot more disappointed than happy so for that I would not recommend or go back.

Trying a new spot with the hubby! Needed to find a place and city we had yet been to. So far, this place is really cool and old timey in decor. I dig it! Used to be an old historical home. Definitely go with the Gnocci of the Day... Super rich and delish! We were super surprised at the bar with a bubbling bouquet of flowers! Come see Taylor and Carson for some crafty cocktails! 17 hours of prep prior to service is a craft success! The house-made Sazerac with an under pinning of Granny Smith apples is amazing as well as the silky smooth Espresso Martini with a cold brew vanilla sweetness was dessert heaven. Definitely a date night with a fire pit out front. A Friday night win! š¤©
