A true gem 💎. Eclectic and quaint tea shop. Service was wonderful and the delicious food and tea made the afternoon so enjoyable!

Our table was waiting for us as we had to make reservations. The tea choices were varied and gave a good selection. The tea came out quickly but had to steep. Crème was not brought nor offered and only sweetener was artificial. The food selections came next one by one. I had discussed vegetarian plant based options when choosing my tea sandwiches when I made reservation but was unaware that this added a $10 vegan up charge. The tea sandwiches appeared to have been made prior to our arrival and possibly refrigerated as the bread was dried out. Nothing was so good that I wanted more or would eat again. The sweet selection was varied and I presume the Oreo cookie was the vegan option. Cannot lie that I was disappointed. There was no offer for additional hot water for the tea. Service was good but I thought the offer of crème and sugar and additional hot water could have been made. When the check was brought a 20% gratuity had already been added. While my norm is 20% a gratuity I feel is something I decide. I was not told that I had to tip 20%. Oh well. I think the experience and food did not justify the price. Sadly only other option for tea in clt is a precocious spot with the dress to impress crowd. I’m not looking for that experience and hoped the French market would deliver but they fell short. I have been to other tea shops so I do have comparison.

I had the full tea experience here with my friend and it was soo phenomenal. the service, atmosphere, and especially food was 10/10. i absolutely need to come back here again for the scones.

Tea service reservations usually require 24 hours notice, but on this occasion they were able to seat us that day. Much appreciated! The tea and foods were very good. Lots of interesting decor to look at. Friendly and attentive service.

On January 9, 2025, I had the pleasure of visiting this delightful café. The service was exceptional, and I truly appreciated the inviting ambiance. However, I did have a minor concern; my quiche was slightly overcooked. Nonetheless, the staff were extremely friendly and ensured that we felt right at home.

We absolutely loved this tea room!! We came in and had brunch and everything was so good! The food did take a little while to get to our table, but since everything is made fresh, it’s completely understandable. The space is smaller than most places (but again, they are a cafe not a restaurant!) we loved the ambiance, staff, and food! Really cute cafe for a brunch date!!!

The Best Tea room

My sister and I absolutely love this bakery. It was such a great experience. It was a bit pricy but, well worth it. The tea section was such a treat. I do want to go back with my daughters when they come to visit.

Honestly, not very impressed, the truffles were just eh. The chocolate coatings on the truffles were way too thick and the flavorings were overly sweet (the thickness of the chocolates did not help). They had a small (I mean small) tea room and the “waiting area” was cramped and small. Listen, I know they want to sell what they have, but either they need a larger space or to remove some of the products so there is more room to move around. Honestly, not impressed, I would rather drive to downtown Monroe and go to the tea shop there than to go here.
