Beware! I used to frequent this food cart until tonight when I called them to tell them about the peice of asphalt rock I found in my food. I bit into this rock while eating my food after I brought it back to my house. I then called the food cart and told them about this incident and asked what can be done and I was told "idk bro" and they hung up on me. It's a shame really because I used to look at this food cart with great pleasure and I would visit it weekly. I will not longer be dining there after I have ingested I don't know how many pieces of asphalt! This place needs to be shut down immediately and inspected for health and safety concerns. I will be contacting somebody about this. DO NOT EAT HEAR IF YOU DONT WANT ROCKS IN YOUR FOOD. The other food carts in the area are good and I recommend the Dominican one especially. Also my girlfriend ordered the chicken over rice and there was lamb all throughout it. I am absolutely horrified, disgusted, and disappointed in this service from this food cart and you have lost 2 valuable regulars. 0 STARS

It's not lamb, just like the trucks in Uptown Charlotte. It's skirt steak(maybe) that is up-charged. Same meat as the gyro and philly cheese steak.

I love having this in the neighborhood! The lamb over rice is especially delicious. It’s a good price, $9 for a huge plate that can be two meals.

Delicious even though our fav Halal cart is in uptown. In uptown location they don’t add green peppers. This located is very similar to University City cart location. Liked the convenience of picnic table next to it.

Been here before but today I had what they think is a Chicken Philly, it’s not. It’s just some chopped chicken in a bun. Greasy, terrible cheese and poorly assembled. Stick to the Lamb over rice type of dishes and you might be fine. Disappointed, I could have donated that $8 to the homeless.

Delicious gyros and chicken over rice. Very filling options and sauces to complement the dishes are great. Would recommend this place.

Perfectly nice fellows selling ‘middle eastern’ food. Gyro meat is mixed with green peppers and onions and doesn’t have the same flavor as every Greek diner’s gyros— not in a bad way, just not in a kinda authentic way.
Toum sauce is actually bottled Ranch :(
Spicy sauce tastes the same, and is packaged the same as the Mexican truck’s sauce there, too. Seems the same people are running different trucks— which is cool but either state that or change menus accordingly
