Delicious even though our fav Halal cart is in uptown. In uptown location they don’t add green peppers. This located is very similar to University City cart location. Liked the convenience of picnic table next to it.
Perfectly nice fellows selling ‘middle eastern’ food. Gyro meat is mixed with green peppers and onions and doesn’t have the same flavor as every Greek diner’s gyros— not in a bad way, just not in a kinda authentic way.
Toum sauce is actually bottled Ranch :(
Spicy sauce tastes the same, and is packaged the same as the Mexican truck’s sauce there, too. Seems the same people are running different trucks— which is cool but either state that or change...

The food is sooooo good! I don’t know why it’s so good, but it is! The owner is so humble. The last time I went , he only took cash, but that was a few months ago. Please try this place if you’re looking for something hearty and refreshing !
