What is not to like about excellent homemade ice cream. Service little slow but good things take time

Ice Cream was great however we tried getting more when we were done and we're told that their POS system doesn't allow you to use your card again that quickly...

Amazing flavors!

Great service and choices. Out of 5 of us, we has 3 shakes, 1 chocolate almond milk shake, and 1 waffle bowl. Everyone loved their choices. Totally recommend!

Wife and kids were feenin’ for something sweet, so we stopped by Handel’s one night after dinner… and just like that, it became part of our nightly post-dinner routine.

We ended up going back 4 nights in a row! Each time, we went for the four-scoop sampler and, by the end of our trip, we’d tried 32 different flavors. Yep—32! And honestly? They were all pretty great. Creamy, delicious, and not too sweet—just perfect.

Handel’s became more than dessert—it became the highlight of our nights. You’ve been warned: once you go, you’ll probably go again… and again… 😄🍨

Lots of flavors to choose from. I mean LOTS. Get the peach and thank me later!

There’s just too many good local ice cream shops around here to support than this average chain

Black Raspberry Chunk Bliss!

The Black Raspberry Chunk at Handel’s in Cornelius is next level. Super creamy with a bold berry flavor and big chunks of rich dark chocolate—it’s the perfect combo. Tastes fresh, not fake, and isn’t overly sweet. Honestly one of the best ice creams I’ve ever had.

If you’re anywhere near Cornelius, do not miss this flavor. It’s a summer staple, a comfort dessert, and a gourmet treat all rolled into one scoop. Or three. No judgment.

LOVE! If you are looking for good, creamy ice cream then this is the place! It is a little bit on the pricey side but you do get a lot of ice cream. The ice cream is some of the best I've had in the area. If you need a recommendation, the chocolate peanut better brownie is amazing. They also have seasonal flavors which are always fun. There is a huge selection year round so there is plenty of options for everyone! If you are more into sorbet, there are a couple options but not too many. Service is also very friendly and speedy. They have some outdoor seating and no inside seating, but it does get packed in the summer. Overall, 10/10 ice cream.

This is my favorite ice cream in Cornelius! I love the old school experience.

Pam is the nicest employee ever! I am counting calories and she looked and tested all the cals and let me try different flavors!! So sweet and they have delicious ice cream! FYI, the small black raspberry sherbet is only 250 cal.
