We went on a Sunday night, party of 4. Place was completely deserted and we got a little nervous. However, we got in and sat down and had an excellent time. Food was amazing and service was great. We will absolutely be coming back!

Food was okay but the service was horribly slow. And not like servers are busy and understandably slow. Seemed like everyone working there was just walking around. We weren't greeted for 20 minutes after being seated. Took another 30 minutes to get the wine we ordered. Had to ask 4 times for a kids menu. And it took over an hour just to place our food orders. Mind you, we were prepared to order when we ordered the wine but the serve said she’d be “right back” for that. So we didn’t get our food until 8:30 for a 7 o’clock reservation. Kinda pathetic

Don’t go here if you’re looking to have a nice evening out. You’ll be waiting 30 minutes to get your drinks and 1 hour to get your food. I want to love this place and have been here 3 times now, but they are very unorganized and can’t handle the flow of service when busy. When we asked if they could check on the wait time of our entrees, we were treated with bad attitudes. No apologies from the staff or management, and no effort to fix their mistake. The food is mediocre and we couldn’t even finish it.

We really want to love this place because the setting is absolutely beautiful. Being right on the water makes it such a great spot, especially around sunset. The drinks are consistently great, and our waitress has always been wonderful. She’s attentive, friendly, and doing her best.
Unfortunately, the overall experience continues to fall short. Service from the broader team is consistently slow and disorganized. It often feels like there’s no clear coordination, which takes away from what should be a relaxing night out.
The food has also been disappointing on multiple visits. For a location like this, you expect quality to match the view, but the dishes have been underwhelming and not worth the price.
We’ll probably still come back occasionally for drinks because the waterfront atmosphere really is hard to beat. We just hope the management focuses on improving consistency in both service and food, because this place has so much potential.

The food and atmosphere were great and I would highly recommend the spicy chicken sandwich with the pickles on the side. The combination of the spices and the vinegary pickles was top notch. However while some people would stop their 5 stay review at the food, I would add an additional 5 starts alone for the service. If you are ever planning on coming here I would call ahead and make sure Landon is working because he was the best server I have ever had. If you have a 529 plan your child’s education or a 401(k) for your retirement I would seriously consider liquidating half of it to tip Landon. Not only was he humorous and accommodating but he made our trip to hello sailor feel like an experience unlike any other that would rival a trip to the moon! Couldn’t recommend this establishment enough!

The experience was different. You walk in and immediately feel like you might want to change your attitude towards the place. The entry was greeted as we were getting ready to be seated for a funeral. The staff just seemed to be willy nilly doing what needs to be done except making sure we were ready to order our food. Asked if we had a reservation as we did not but the entire inside had a very minimal customers seated which should have been a clue as to why are there not more people here at lunch? The food was good and had its own spin on items, no complaints. The overall feel was a little uncomfortable with very small tables especially for four people. Wish I could say we would return but it doesn't look promising. Price point is too much for the food we received.

First of all. The inside of this establishment is adorable. But can we talk about the view? Wow! Beautiful. We sat outside on a perfect spring/summer day and watched the water. The food was mostly good with a slight hiccup in one of our dishes, but they swiftly corrected it. Server was nice- just seemed a little overwhelmed (but understandably so- it was packed). There was a bit of a wait to be seated. We didn't love that the people next to us let their kid run freely - screaming and banging on things while we were trying to enjoy everything. Aside from that, it was great and we will definately be going back in the spring/summer again!

This is a review of one item. This rest of the items and mixed drinks were good. Do not go here for oysters… no flavor and a very poor presentation. The service was okay but not exceptional. Back to the oysters… a restaurant should always have soda for crackers and horseradish on hand. Also… if not… then the oysters should be flavorful. Smaller appetizer forks add something as well. This place does have an incredible view.
