I tried today NY stilled Chinese food in NC. I had the General Tso Chicken the sauce had a good taste but the chicken was most flour very disappointed.

Normally so good, afraid it has gone downhill. Last time was questionable, Tonight was awful. Food was super below average, don’t waste your money. Squishy/ soggy egg rolls, really dark egg drop soup, no sauce, General Tso was like eating a sponge and the happy family was tasteless. We had switched to Huangs and wanted to give this local another shot, won’t be back.

Really enjoyed the food here! It was quick and fresh. The flavors were really great. I got the tofu with vegetables and the tofu was cooked perfectly! The Crab Rangoons were so crispy and yummy. The portion size is really good. Both me and my husband had enough to take home. The atmosphere isn’t like a fancy sit down restaurant or anything, it’s more like a whole in the wall but it’s a good find. They did bring the food to us but other than that they weren’t like waiting on us. They mostly have to-go orders.

Please correct your hours. It says 9:30 close yesterday. I called at 8:45 to place an order and was told I couldn’t order because I wouldn’t get there until 9:10pm for pickup despite closing at 9:30. Love the food but that was unacceptable last night !

I have gone to NY for years and always been happy. Lately getting anything chicken, it's like it's compressed into a brick the chicken has nothing but a mass mush. Very disappointed. This time I got orange chicken last time I got general shows chicken both time the texture of the chicken was soft and mushy. Call the restaurant to ask how I can order it next time and all she did was blow me off and tell me I could not get my money back or get compensated, she wanted me to drive all the way back up there and I'm sorry but I didn't have the time.

The pork fried rice and Teriyaki chicken are my mainstay from NY Restaurant. I'll never understand why it's called that.
I wished that I had walked out as soon as I walked in, but gave it a chance. I should have gone with my first instinct.

Food was okay - little bland, the garlic sauces were quite loose and the Singapore Mei Fun noodles were overcooked and mushy. The orange tofu could use a thicker crust/crisp and was a little bitter...maybe from due to the steam from the takeout container, though. The boneless rib tips were on point and very good. Overall, not bad but not great. Still worth checking out if you're in the area.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetable options which was really appreciated.

I placed a call in order right after they opened. When I went to pick it up 15 minutes later, the lady I spoke with on the phone told me their were no call in orders. I redialed the number on my call history and it was the correct number. She assured me there was no call in orders, even though I had spoke to her just a short time before. After I left I received a text about my order being canceled. What order?!? I thought they didn’t have my call in order. They need to get the basics straight here.
