We LOVE this restaurant. The service is amazing, quality of the food is amazing, everything… everything is amazing. New ownership knocked it out of the park when they took over.

What’s a great dinner and amazing staff! Food was fresh and delicious. The owner was so welcoming and made my husband feel very special on Father’s Day night. Such a great place and welcoming energy. Thank you to our waitress she was so lovely!

We were a little apprehensive to come to the restaurant because of a poor review referring to the treatment of the owner towards children. I called ahead of time to make reservations and make sure that our toddler would be welcome.
We went to our reservations and were seated quickly after arrival.
We found the owner to be friendly and accommodating. He did explain that he doesn’t want children running around the restaurant or climbing on unoccupied booths to avoid accidents and keep an enjoyable atmosphere. Imagine that! What a concept.
We enjoyed the meal, everything was great-sushi, scallops, steak and chicken. My husband particularly enjoyed the rice. The soup has much more flavor than other restaurants too. All of the staff did well also, our waitress and chef were attentive and worked well.
We will make the trip of 40 minutes every time we’re craving Japanese food.

Great hibachi buffet, owner is nice. My only issue is having to wait an additional 30 minutes past the reservation I had made. This has happened twice.

Excellent experience! We went to another one in the area and left before being seated. This is the one to go to! Staff was friendly. We were seated quickly and ended up having the table to ourselves. I beleive our chefs name was Phong and he was great about working with us on dietary restrictions.

Absolutely amazing!!!!! From start to finish I don't think there is a thing I would have changed. Clean and welcoming environment. The owner takes great pride in his food and staff and it really shows. He made several suggestions, all of which were spot on. All of their sauces are made in house and not a single one disappointed. The quality/quantity of food, prices, sauces, staff and the whole restaurant in general has cemented its place in my list of MUST stops when we're in or around Charlotte.

This place was yummy! May have been one of the best Japanese table-side restaurants I’ve been to. Smaller portions than other places, but much more tasty. Will definitely be back!

If I could give this place a ZERO I would. We had reservations for 8:30 pm and stood at an empty hostess station waiting over 7 mins and weren’t acknowledged. I happen to see the manager on duty to let him know we have been standing at the hostess station to be seated. He dismissed us like we were peasants, yelling saying “I only saw you standing there about a minute, but ok hold on I’m doing something right now, I’ll be with you in a bit!” I asked him why he didn’t at least acknowledge us? He was extremely rude, and dismissive. We left. I refuse to spend my money where I do not feel welcome. They never have to worry about me darkening their doorstep EVER!
