Easily the best out of the Poke Bros locations. Food is always fresh, it's always made perfectly, and the staff is always friendly. I drove from an hour away today just to get lunch there. Top notch poke bowls.

I was looking for a quick, healthy bite and decided to drop into Poke Lakes in Cornelius, and I’m so glad I did! Since I went solo, I appreciated that there was zero wait, and I was able to get right up to the counter.

The first thing I noticed was how spotlessly clean and well-lit the entire space was—it created a really welcoming atmosphere. Even better was the service. The young girl working the counter was incredibly patient and helpful, walking me through all the different ingredients and options. It made ordering effortless, and everything looked incredibly fresh and well-presented.

I ended up going with one of their pre-selected options, the Number 2 Panhala signature bowl. I love that they offer these signature bowls, but also that you can still modify them or go completely custom with a build-your-own bowl. The taste was fantastic! The tuna was noticeably fresh—that's always the make-or-break for a poke bowl—and the overall mix of flavors was excellent. I truly enjoyed every bite.

I’m already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re ever in Cornelius and craving fresh, delicious poke, I highly recommend stopping by Poke Lakes. I will absolutely be back!

The food here is absolutely amazing — everything is so fresh and full of flavor! You can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, especially Rikki, who was incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great poke bowls!

Best poke place in town, both food and customer service

This is a peer solid option for Poke, but there is room for improvement. I get very nice bowl when I place the order in the restaurants (customization) This is not as the case when I order it online though. My last order had a huge amount of ginger, which makes nonsense to me. Ginger is spice, not a salad.

Aside from this, the bowl was good. I do recommend signing up for their loyalty program and there the scratch card for a free bowl after 11 purchases.

Food here is so good! We always do the BYO bowls for takeout, and I think it's been right all but one time over several years now. Mochi is really yummy too.

My minor complaint is the ridges in the bowls make it hard to get all the rice.
