Dear Management, During my flight back to Atlanta, my finance and I decided to stop for lunch at Stock Car Café inside Charlotte Douglas Airport. Since we had an hour and change to spare, we figured we would order our food and eat at the establishment. Upon seating, we were immediately greeted by our server Patrisha. We were very specific when asked how we would like the burger cooked? We replied, well done. This is where things started to get a little wonky! We arrived at approximately around 7:20 and were told that our food shouldn’t take longer than 20 minutes, which was fine. Our waitress was very friendly and did a good job, but I’m assuming the kitchen staff must have been understaffed. Honestly, I felt bad for the waiter because people were at their tables waiting on food for SO long that they left to catch their flight after paying for their food. To give the reader an idea, after we ordered our food, it took 1 hour before we complained about potentially missing our flight. When we were finally able to leave, it was 8:30. Therefore, we were at the bar for an hour plus. So, we had the café to make our order to-go. As we boarded our flight at the last minute, we could not wait to open the container and enjoy the meal. My fiancé offered to share the burger. As she used the plastic ware to cut it in half, we noticed that the meat was pink and still RAW. We both were sick to our stomachs. To make matters worse, I could not exit the plane for a refund. After making it to our destination, we decided to call (704-359-4979) the establishment (Stock Car Café, 5501 Josh Birmingham Pkwy, Charlotte, NC 28208) to speak to a manager. To their luck, the phone rings. Therefore, this is a more significant issue, hence the reason in encouraged to write a review. Now, I’m hoping Management follows up to make something that could’ve been resolved via phone be resolved immediately since this is my only form of potential contact. My wife and I decided to sit in the cafe to get a quick bite to eat and have a couple of drinks. We had to wait a little aimlessly for someone to notice us and offer us a table. We ordered our drinks and decided to get the nachos. We decided on grilled chicken instead of the pulled pork and placed the jalapenos on the side. The nachos came out with the pulled pork and no jalapenos. The entire nacho plate was cold. Absolutely, no quality control at this cafe. Honestly, the health inspector should conduct a surprise visit before someone gets sick.

Excellent burgers at medium prices, and good hospitality. Highly recomended for a good late lunch or just a beer.

Looks like a typical airport eatery, not clean, busy, but looks can be deceiving..The service and food in this place was exceptional, The nacho meal was more than you could eat and absolutely delicious. .The place is full of tvs watching sports, but not noisy. The tables were attended to quickly for more seating nobody bothered you if you sat a liitle longer after you finished your meal...It was a hidden gem in CLT...and the price wasnt killer either....

The restaurant is a sports bar environment with several televisions. The service was rather slow, especially for an airport restaurant. My cheese omelet was good but a bit pricey.

Brakin Bacon, Egg, and Avocado sandwich for breakfast. Average sandwich, but very dissapointed since the avocado was missing. Pointed out and response of "oh, we must have run out". That's all.

CPKASAP is gone. Maybe it will return, I don't know. So, stopped into Stock Car Cafe. Got the salmon salad. I thought it was pretty good. Only catch was it came with onions and I had ordered without but they fixed it. Overall, no complaints but this is really just an average place. I'd get the salad again.

Biggest NASCAR race of the year. 19 out of 20 TV’s playing football, golf, basketball etc. Bartender asks if anyone is watching the championship race on the only TV not showing other sports. Food sucked, barstools need to be reupholstered and they need to change name to “Sports Cafe” so nobody assumes they can actually watch a stock car race between flights.
Grew up going here with family and friends eating amazing food and jammin out to John j ogorman /rusty barkley and the part time blues band when the played live out on the outdoor porch area. Staff was always nice. Was plenty of parking. Food was always awesome. Had tons of stockcar/NASCAR memorabilia and could watch the race on tv.

Waiting on a connection, it was time for food as the next leg would be 3 hours. Not many choices in this concourse in Charlotte. Not the Charlotte airport I remember I used it often when I lived in SC. Andrew immediately saw that I sat down and got my drink along with the order for Veggie Omelette (not much cheese pleas) with fruit. Order arrived fairly quickly and tasted very good. Andrew was very attentive which I appreciated.

Poorly managed at best. Our server was trying to hustle but clearly was inexperienced. Other servers spent 5-10 minutes chatting in the area while rolling napkins or playing with the register. Took at least 1/2 hour to get order taken. When food arrived (which looked good) my burger was undercooked on 1 side and the wrong side came with it. Server kept saying 'I'm sorry' which was OK the first time and appreciated but later when we kept hearing it over and over again became annoyance on top of annoying. Servers do not help each other and did notice very inefficient movements like pick up a partial table, then setting back down on another table in order to scoop up tips. I can live with expensive but can't stand poor service and especially orders done wrong. This one will fool me only once.

My wife was getting hungry around dinner time while waiting for our flight. When we saw several empty tables and tv screens, we decided to take a chance at the Stock Car Cafe----and were glad we did. We ordered some brews and took a chance with Fried Pickles with Avocado Sauce. The pints were cold and pickles surprisingly tasty. Our very busy server was amazingly fast and efficient. We were happy campers by the time our flight was ready!

a fine establishment for the delayed traveler. I had the Hop Drop n Roll, an IPA by the local Charlotte brewery NoDa. Near B gates. Across from Bojangles. The bar is excellent for chats. WiFi strong.
