I purchased 2 dozen sugar cookies for my granddaughter’s birthday 4/30/2024. I paid $150.00 and they were decorated beautifully but they were so dry. They tasted very stale and we ended up having to throw them away because no one would eat them. I will not waste my money again. :(

Hello Noah Roberson here. I have recently visited this fine establishment and I must say while I did not take any photos of the goodies I purchased, I enjoyed them very much. The atmosphere was very immaculate and the customer service was top tier. If I had to compare Sweet Cakes Bakery to a basketball player , it would be Lebron James because of the way it has strived for so many years. I will definitely be coming back and I recommend all ladies and gents to joyfully make the trip to Sweet Cakes Bakery, you won’t regret it.

Visited for the first time today and purchased a dozen assorted mini cupcakes. The customer service was good the baker/staff answered all my questions regarding flavors. The cupcakes were so dry it was so unfortunate. My kids love cupcakes and stated they did not like these so it was a waste of money. I’m not sure if the cupcakes have been sitting out for days but for this to be a bakery they should consider a different recipe or ensuring cupcakes are made fresh daily.

Icing smushed, cupcakes falling apart, very expensive mistake. I ordered regular cupcakes not minis for those thinking that.Sad part is my 3 and 6 year old said “no thanks and yucky” after tasting the first bites. I had to try them because what kid doesn’t want sweets. Well, they were hard and tasted like cheap stale grocery store cupcakes. I was already astonished by how small they have gotten for as much as they charge for them. There are plenty of better spots for sweets here.This spot was convenient and had awesome choices with phenomenal cupcakes. Just seems like a resale company for old outdated cupcakes now. My mom ordered me a cake for my birthday. I assumed she sent in inspo pics bc it’s exactly what I envisioned!! It was a vanilla cake with buttercream. My friends and I loved it, it was dense but moist. Very delicious, I enjoyed. Although it was 6” it was 3 layers tall perfect for a party. Very pretty and I will be recommending them.

This is my third and final time ordering from them, the quality of the decorating and cake taste has gone down significantly since my first order. The first cake I ordered was perfect, a sushi cake that was beautiful and tasty. the second cake for my birthday, I was less happy with the appearance but overall it was still cute. The cake turned out to be inedible though, it was too sweet and we ended up throwing it out. It had been a year so I took a chance, and ordered a naked cake with lettering. The lettering was very sloppy, there were lots of blobs of icing where there shouldn't be, the is we're not dotted, ts not crossed. Because they showed the person that picked it up and they accepted it, they were not able to do anything. But also after talking to the manager it was clear they were unwilling to do anything. I ended up paying 50 something bucks for a cake I'm unhappy with. This bakery is fine for the odd character cake, but I wouldn't trust them past what you would trust a Publix bakery.

I love local bakeries and came across this one today. I never can make up my mind on what I want to try so when I walked in I ordered one of everything they had available. They had a ton of cupcake flavors. I got a couple cupcakes (FYI they were very good) but what I really wanted to try were the brownie bars, cake pops and cookies. The vanilla cake pops were fantastic. Great vanilla flavor, the cake was the perfect consistency. Really well done. The cookies taste homemade which is what any person wants. Buttery, soft on inside with crisp outside. Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate and sugar cookie were wonderful. Again, great flavor. But the brownie bars were on another level of epic wonderfulness. I tried the Millionaire Shortbread, the Ooey Gooey Bar, the Cookie Dough Brownie and a Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie. OMG!!! Some of the best flavors I have tasted from a bakery. Every single brownie bar was phenomenal. I travel a lot and love to go to local bakeries. I am shocked that there is such an amazing bakery only 15 min from where I live. Highly recommend this local gem.
