Most times the meat is GREAT, sometimes it can be dry and chewy. We got the ribs and chicken combo with Mac n cheese and Cole slaw. Also sampled another family member’s bbq sandwich. Ribs suffered from the dry and chewy issue, despite the great flavor. Overall, a great spot to visit in the northern OBX.
We bought enough food to eat on for the week and went back to get dinner more sides to round out one last meal. Loved the and the people were kind. You don't really go here to sit down and eat since it's just a couple of picnic tables. But that's what we were looking for. They have spots to eat there but I went on a nasty rainy day. Best part of the day was eating the BBQ sandwich with coleslaw in the truck. Generous portions and it was very delicious.
