Terrible experience. Here on vacation in September, and we wanted some doughnuts. We saw this location and decided to try in a Monday morning. The young lady behind the counter barely made an effort when we came in, but no problem. There weren’t a lot of doughnuts available, so we chooses from what was there. I also ordered 10 doughnut holes with sugar and when I got home it was half glazed and half sugar, so she apparently didn’t listen to us. Also, the doughnuts were decent, but some were very hard so we had to warm them in the microwave to soften them. I’m all behind new businesses, but unless they change, they’ll be out of business in less than a year. I can go anywhere for doughnuts, and there is a Harris Teeter right next door that serves decent doughnuts. Oh, and when I skipped the tip (who gets a tip for putting doughnuts in a bag), she rolled her eyes at us. I rarely write a negative review, but personally I would steer clear as this was a less than pleasant experience. I see other good reviews on here, so maybe they’ve never purchased doughnuts before or it’s friends of the owner.

So disappointed to see Duck Donuts is no longer here. My husband wanted to try these donuts out and it was very underwhelming. Like another reviewer stated, these taste like grocery store donuts. The flavor choices weren’t special and the toppings were sparse. Wanted to like them but unfortunately will not be returning. Maybe with time, there will be improvements.

Delicious donuts!!! We were shocked when we saw duck donuts were no longer there and a new donut place. However, these donuts are still wayyyy better. These arent cake donuts and are not oily like duck donuts. These will be good the next days to eat. I highly recommend

Very meh….For $26 a dozen, Duck or Dunkin’ Donuts are superior. Fun Fact: I don’t care for Northern Light’s Bakery donuts either…to each his own tho

The other reviews saying that the donuts were too bready and sweet I completely agree with. They were very much comparable to grocery store donuts with high end bakery prices. Garbage.

Such a fantastic addition to Corolla! The store is clean, bright, and fresh. The donuts have been wonderful and fresh everytime I've stopped in. They are coming up with some very unique flavors (snickers today definitely caught my eye!) I suggest going early for a good selection. Keep up the great work y'all!

Absolutely loved the donuts! Even though the shop is fairly new, the customer service is outstanding, everyone is so kind and more than happy to help if you have any questions. The donuts are unique and definitely stand out from places like Duck Donuts. Best of all, there's no long wait,you won’t be standing in line for two hours just to get half a dozen! I guess the location is just a coincidence,but a great one!

pretty sure these are frozen donuts. they are in old Duck location that closed while they renovate. nice people but these are not warm and you cant custome anyway. they taste just like ones at the Harris T next door. my kids made us take them to Duck location!

Disclaimer: I'm a donut snob. The donuts are mid at best. They are too thick (bready) and too sweet for the toppings/icing. For the price, they are definitely not worth it. Go to duck donuts instead.

These donuts are AMAZING. They are very tasty, soft and they’re huge. The workers are very sweet. Will definitely be going again before I leave Corolla this week.
