Javier was a fun and excellent server. Mark the owner recognized us from before and oversaw our dinner. We had a gluten free diner and they were attentive to that completely.
We come here every summer! Love the awesome drinks and the great tapas! I sent my daughter earlier in the summer with her friends and she said it was great then. The food is so good and there are so many different options it's great!
A real gem in the middle of the Outer Banks. Excellent menu choices (too many to try them all!). The owner and staff greet you, don't hover, but are quick to respond. Space can get a bit noisy when filled. Over all, well worth trying - you will probably return.
Terrific tasty small portions of food. This is tapas, so the plates/portions are small, definitely need to order at least two items. The bread was delicious! We ordered several of varying dishes so that we could share and sample different things. The pasta plates had a larger portion of food. Special cocktails were very good! I had the jalapeno margarita that tasted like a mango with a little spicy kick. We had the duck and various crab dishes, the risotto, lamb, ragout pasta and asparagus soup. We finished off with the cream dessert. A little pricey but great food and nice atmosphere.
The owners love what they do and they know food! They are also keenly aware that presentation impacts the overall experience. It is a culinary delight! Chefs kiss! We will be back
Food and drinks were amazing. Portions according to a tapas style restaurant. Would def return.
The menu options were great and all of our selections were prepared perfectly and delicious. Our server was amazing.
WARNING !! Complete tourist trap !! The service was probably the worst I've seen. The food is average to poor and you will leave hungry after dropping $300+ . You may want to easy something before you go. A complete rip off along with terrible service. Corolla has much more to offer than the Metropolis !
The staff is amazing: professional, fun and attentive and the food truly delicious. Every bite of every dish the four of us tasted was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Their in house focaccia is beyond measure; so light and moist inside and the outside crisp; perfect overall, very tasty. The desserts were yummy. We will be back often.
I love this place. The food was creative and delicious. Service was prompt, helpful efficient. The ambiance was causal elegant. Every dish we ordered was a pleasure to eat.

This restaurant is very cool inside with a nice large bar. The menu is also very interesting. Unfortunately, they sat 3 of us at a table that was too narrow to sit us without bumping into the table next to us. Also, the food (scallops in particular) was overly salted and the drinks a bit watered down. The waiter was also slow as he had way too many tables to handle at once (7 incl 2 larger ones). I rated it as a 3 based on the interior and menu. Otherwise, it was a 2.
Always with outstanding drink options before the meal. Our food (Tapas style servings) was excellent, be it seafood based, meat or pasta. The daily special soup-Cream of Asparagus-was excellent. It was smooth and flavorful but not overwhelmingly creamy or buttery. Outstanding location, especially for groups of 2-4 people.
The restaurant was so cold! We had to change seats because the air conditioning was blowing right on us and we couldn't get warm even with jackets on. The cheese plate was very minimal for $15. Two pieces of cheese, some pistachios, mustard and chutney. Very disappointing! The soup was delicious.
This was a lovely Mother's Day meal at a gichi restaurant. The food was very good but on the side that says heavy tapas I wish it had had a little more meat. One of the owners took our order and was very helpful as I am handicapped and walk with a rollater. It is definitely a trendy vibe in the restaurant. It does cost a little bit more but for special occasions I think it's worth it.
All the tapas was excellent. We love to try a bunch of different things. Great craft cocktails. Desserts were magnificent.
