The family wanted sushi so we chose this place for our dinner tonight. The waiter we had was really attentive and great, no complaint there.
My miso soup was flavorful, and tasted great. My sushi however did not taste that great. The Spicy Trio cokes with a spicy tuna roll, a spicy salmon roll, and a spicy California roll. Both the tuna and salmon did not taste very fresh at all. Especially the tuna.
Some of the rice bowls my family got did look pretty good. However I can’t recommend coming here specifically for sushi.

The worst sushi I've ever had. Cute decoration, place appears clean, service friendly with limited English. But if you're looking for decent sushi, go somewhere else. Not sure what the good reviews are based on.

It was so good, I went this evening and I ate so much food I thought I was going to burst. I got gyoza, roll party, and volcano roll sushi. The others were a bit loud but it was clean and the service was great. Not a long wait, but it’s a little small so I guess it can be longer depending on the time you get there

Great food, reasonable price, good service, clean but interior is stark- hence 3 on atmosphere- not offensive mind you- just meh if anyone cares. Easy parking and you can eat outside or take out which is nice.

Give this place a chance! Usually it’s the least expected place that has amazing sushi and this is one of them! From the appetizers, rolls to fried rice, it was all delicious! This was our first time here and to anyone who comes to OBX, specifically Corolla, this is a must. Thank you for the yummy food and friendliness! Love, the Ohio family 🙂 oh one thing I wasn’t crazy about, the house salad dressing wasn’t very gingery but too sweet.

On a slow night they stayed open to make sure we were served. Awesome food as usual, but the service this time was above and beyond when everyone was ready to roll! We come during the off season as well as busy season and we’ll keep coming back! Thanks everyone.

We visited with a party of four. One person received their meal, and then there was a 20-minute gap before the next meal arrived. Another 15 minutes passed before the final two meals were served - those were piping hot, making it clear they had been forgotten and only just prepared. The most frustrating part wasn’t the delay itself, but the complete lack of communication. No one checked in or gave us any explanation while we waited. I understand mistakes happen, but keeping customers informed goes a long way.
