We waited 45 minute after placing our order. Did not receive appetizers, during this time. Paid $8 for 2 glasses of ice tea and left. Server said our order was ready, but 2 other tables were still waiting, who were there before us.

Ribs were so bad two people at the table wouldn't even finish chewing and spit them out. One person's food came out cold. The cole slaw was sour. Went to the women's restroom. One toilet, one sink, and 11, yes 11 air fresheners all around the toilet. Why does a bathroom that small require 11 air fresheners? What are they trying to cover up? Overall terrible experience. Will never return.

Great service and family friendly. Met the owner the other night and he grew up in VA near us. Everything was very tasty and kids meal comes on a free frisbee! Highly suggest!

i got the big brisket, the only way to describe it would be offensive. first things first never sauce your brisket before it hits the bun, but they do it because the brisket is basically chewy, stringy leather. let me come show you how to cook a brisket. geez, i don’t even want the shirt now that we bought. lol

The food was very good and the portions were huge. Our meals included ribs, pulled pork, onion rings, hush puppies and Mac and cheese and everything was very good.

We love sooeys, its one of our favorite parts about coming down to OBX, this trip was lacking a little, we weren't given much sauce for 2 sandwiches and our hushpuppies were not hot, but I understand they were a little busier so I still highly recommend trying.

$135 for takeout for 4 people was so disappointing. Beef brisket was like shoe leather, ribs don’t fall off the bone and chewy, pulled chicken was tough only thing edible was the pulled pork and Mac and cheese. Should have remembered last time
we were disappointed too but lesson learned. Save your money most went right into garbage

The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. They offer great hush puppies, brisket, and beans. Service was friendly and fast.

This was our first time going, our waitress was nice and polite and she was pretty good. The food was also pretty good and it came out quickly, the only complaint is that it was way to cramped in there, to many tables in one small room. Overall, pretty good food and good service, way to cramped within the building.

The food was amazing. Best BBQ I have had in a long time and probably the best Brisket I have ever had. Definitely recommend

Can’t say how the food is bc we never got it. Ordered online with a 2 hour wait for our food, ok fine it’s mid season & places are busy. Go to pick up our order at the time given and it’s not ready, ask the young lady at the counter about how much longer and were told “I don't know but can call you when it’s ready” so we wait 25 more minutes and check back again same answer, still no idea how much longer so we asked for a refund and will not be back.
