Sweet Cups & Corolla Cupcakes

The ice cream was clearly freezer burned and had no flavor. I also understand that the staff probably deal with hundreds of people per day, but that's no excuse to be blatantly rude.

This was genuinely the worst ice cream I have ever had. I have never thought ice cream could taste bad until now.

Was excited for some homemade ice cream on vacation. We were traveling with a group and I ordered and paid for myself and granddaughter and then moved off to the game area because it was crowded. When the rest of our group went to pay, the girl at the counter accused them of not paying for part of the group. They told her what they paid for, and then she pointed at me across the room and accused me of not paying; I had paid HER not 5 minutes earlier. I went back to the counter and again she said I didn't pay, I told her what we had and that I'd left a tip. She looked it up in history (they did not offer me a receipt, nor were they setup to give receipts) and sure enough we paid. The ice cream was flavorless; the service was dismal.

Cupcakes weren't amazing. Frosting was terrible. Cupcake tasted like box mix but was pleasantly moist.

I've had every cupcake IN THE WORLD and THIS is hands down the BEST cupcake I have ever had. The frosting - delicous. Cake - succulent. Price - down right obliterating the CPI. And the service was golden. Will be returning on my next vacation to Corolla! Would give 11 stars if I could.

Cupcakes were very average. Like grocery stores are borderline better. With the name of the shop I expected fun, gourmet cupcakes but they were just normal cupcakes with icing like any other for double to triple the cost. Unfortunate, since there’s not a lot of gourmet desserts in the area, could’ve been a hit.

Average ice cream but the person who was scooping ice cream was very very nice and generous. Better off buying ice cream at the grocery store

How is it even possible to mess up ice cream? My son always finished his ice cream, but not today. He described the texture as icy, disgusting and weird. Freezer burned ice cream, anyone? It was flaky with ice crystals which explains why it took the worker so long to scoop it. Go literally anywhere else for ice cream.

Don't be fooled by the cute aesthetic from the outside, this ice cream is awful. They also do not offer any topping, which would help since the flavors are so bland.

The girl at the counter was wonderful. However, the ice cream is terrible. My daughter liked the strawberry slushie though. We didn't try the cupcakes. Definitely go elsewhere for ice cream though! Wish I would have checked reviews before we went!
