Perfect little coffee shop to set the tone for a peaceful beach vacation.
Their lavender latte was amazing. So was the lemonade mid-day. We visited almost every day we were in town this summer.
They had a great inventory of local artisan products. We bought these adorable whale coffee mugs that an artist sells in only a couple stores in the area. So cool.

Our favorite coffee shop in Corolla! The pastries (apple cake, especially) were so good! The drinks were fantastic. I can say enough about this place! It can get busy so be prepared to wait! Can’t wait to return!

We had the lemon poppyseed muffin and raspberry crumble cake regular coffee and decaf salted caramel latte with skim milk. The coffee was good.
The service was fantastic.
Great buttery taste on the cake part of the raspberry crumble cake. Very heavy layer of crumbs. (I should have had it in 3 servings.)
Be sure to look around the shop at the specialty items offered for sale by local artists. Dresses, sweaters, mittens, gloves hats, sweatshirts and other clothing upstairs. Jewelry, t-shirts, water colors, sketches, pottery and other cool items are downstairs.

It’s busy because it’s THAT good! One of the best cold brews I’ve had in a while. There was a long line that moved pretty quickly. It was worth the wait!

Good coffee in a cute little shop. The line can be long and you will be waiting a while but there’s lots of knick knacks while you wait. It’s in the historical part of Corolla and near the lighthouse and fits in super well vibe wise. Haven’t tried the bbq next door but that’s something if you need to eat something substantial with your coffee. The smoothie shop across the street is good too

Love to support local coffee shops, this popular one is very small. Be prepared for long line. Store purchases have to wait in same line smh.
Seating area outside pretty limited

I will never understand why someone charges such a price for a Tea but then has you make it yourself in a lobby you cannot even access. We waited in line for probably about 30+ minutes only to find out you had to make your own tea, which I was not going to pay for a cup of water to then make my own tea when I literally could not even move in the main area. My husband got a cold brew with Sugar-free vanilla and I ended up getting a Chobani blueberry yogurt as a snack with nothing to drink. After waiting very very long to get to the front (with a toddler) I was not given a spoon or offered one and I had walked out before my husband due to it being so extremely packed in that tiny building. When I went back in, I had to squeeze my way through the extremely long line to get someone’s attention to get a spoon only to find out. They are behind the counter and you have to get one from somebody works there. There was even a customer that made the comment that it was difficult for me to get one.
My husband and I started our 2 1/2 mile walk back to our house. He took a sip of his coffee and it was so incredibly sweet. He had to wait for the ice to melt to water it down to be able to drink it.
We were so excited to support a local business, but unfortunately, this is not a local business we will probably be supporting in the future. There were even people behind us in the line stating that it simply was not worth the wait and the chaotic atmosphere for a cup of coffee.

The Kind Cup is a charming little coffee shop that’s worth the wait. While waiting in line, you can check out Art, jewelry, & unique handmade gifts from local artisans, knowing you are also standing in a restored, historic building right in the heart of historic Corolla Village. Coffee options are delicious & I especially love the Kindberry Lemonade (recipe is listed on the wall, not on the big menu board). As a Corolla veteran, it’s always on my list, each summer & worth an early morning visit during your vacation. I love that small businesses, like this, exist in my favorite part of the world! Make a stop at the Kind Cup during your Corolla vacation too!!!!
