Had the Fried chicken sandwich and chips with a salad.The sandwich wasn't bad,but nothing special. Salad had wilted brown lettuce which I cut off.Service was good though

We came in on the end of the dinner service on a stormy Tuesday evening and had an unexpectedly delicious dinner of fried green tomatoes, tuna steak with polenta and green beans, and smoked brisket mac n cheese with sliced cherry tomatoes and basil as the dinner special. We were delighted with the food and service. I ordered a dessert to bring home, and it was equally impressive. Do come!

Ok overall, nice experience for dinner. We were there first in line at 5:30 pm. We were seated right away. We enjoyed sitting on the outside patio. The prices are a little high as I ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp and I was given 4 shrimp for a $9 upcharge so I felt that was a bit much. The calamari was very chewy but it always is for me, so I figured that it was just me (& my family) the margaritas were good, service was ok. Steak was prepared well and crab cakes too.

This is probably our third it fourth time eating here (over the past few years) we really enjoy the atmosphere!
I got the special which was the rockfish. It was really good and cooked very well. Was a little disappointed on polenta cakes. It needed salt and more Parmesan for sure. It literally just tasted like plain breadish thing to me and didn’t really add anything special. My husband got steak that was asked to be cooked, medium rare, but really came to the table at medium. It was still yummy though. My father-in-law got the tuna and loved it However, he also did not like the polenta cake. My toddler got the chicken tender basket and of course did not eat the chicken tenders lol but enjoyed the chips.
Our server was very kind. Think it could’ve been a little better with drink refills, but they were kind of busy so completely understandable for a delay.

The host was not very kind and we did not find her welcoming at all. We did my get a hi, how are you… anything. When we went to sit on the rooftop outside, my father-in-laws seat had soda spilled on it (from the previous person that use the seat ) and when we asked her if we could have a napkin to wipe the seat down she seemed very inconvenienced by it. She did get the napkin and wipe it, but again she seemed inconvenienced by it and did have an attitude about it.

The crab cake was AWESOME. Outdoor seating made for an enjoyable meal on check-n day at lunch.

This review is solely on the fact that we had a party of 10 that came in and put our name down, the hostess told us it would be a 2 hour wait, we came back 2 hours later and was then told that they didn’t have a table for us and couldn’t accomodate us at all cos the night. A complete waste of time. The hostess then said she would go upstairs to put a table together and then came back down. A guy came down and apologized saying they couldn’t accommodate us and that people were taking to long to eat and there was nothing he can do. I have no idea if the food is good but I can say that I wouldn’t even come back here because of how unaccomodating they are and wasting not only 2 hrs of our time but also making it now almost impossible to go to eat somewhere considering it’s 8pm on a Friday night.

Food was perfectly delicious and hit the spot! No complaints there, very satisfying. The food also came out really fast so that was sooo nice! We got the fresh fish of the day, the fried green tomatoes, the spinach feta salad and they were fantastic! The vibe was also really great except they could do with an extra screen on the top deck plus a fan - the sun and heat were simply stifling and killed our appetite when the breeze died.

Our waitress also seemed to forget about us every time - it took 10 minutes for her to greet our table, an extra 5 to get water, and then forever to get our check (everyone else had sat down, eaten, and gotten their check while we were waiting). Waiting so much for the waitress plus the heat just put such a damper on the meal.

Food was ok, everything came with home made potato chips, which were just ok, i had the fried chicken sandwhich which was great, though wife had the crab cake which wasn't great, not a lot of crab in it or flavor, and small, the hush puppies weren't great either and very over priced as you only get a couple of them. The staff was fantastic though. There seems to be pretty limited inside seating, there is outside seating with ceiling fans. Over the food was just ok, a bit over priced honestly.
