I'm not kidding that this is some of if not the best food I have ever tasted. After my third visit I can say it's not a mistake or a fluke. Magic happens in this kitchen to produce a meal you will likely never forget!

Surprising place tucked away in a strip mall next to Harris Teeters. Food was excellently prepared and inventive. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Very intimate setting. Worth getting there just before they open to get a table.

Extremely disappointed with our experience at Urban Kitchen. We arrived as a group of six adults and one child, and the hostess was shockingly rude right from the start. She flat-out refused to seat us, claiming they couldn’t accommodate our group size—even though the restaurant wasn’t full. When we offered to split into two smaller groups, she still refused and gave us serious attitude, as if we were doing something wrong just by being there.
The lack of basic courtesy and flexibility was unacceptable. We ended up leaving and taking our business elsewhere. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming dining experience.

Best restaurant in Corolla hands down. Food is fresh, flavorful and inventive. We ordered the Halloumi cheese with dukkah to start - divine! For our mains we ordered the Strip Steaks, Chicken with Potato, Tatziki and Castelvetrano Olive - also divine. Don't forget to order dessert. We ordered the Passion Fruit Tart, Chocolate Panacotta, that was like a deconstructed smore on crack, and the ice cream oatmeal raisin cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream. Overall an amazing find in Corolla! Worth the drive you are staying south of Corolla.

We have been coming to the Urban Kitchen for a few years now and it's the food highlight of our OBX vacation. Everything is cooked to perfection and exceptionally fresh and delicious. Don't skip their salads, which are huge and incredible. I have tried everyone they offer and have to be disappointed.
On this trip, I was hungry enough to order the steak, which was tender as hell and packed with flavor. Their fries are so good too.
The staff is also worth mentioning, as they are so friendly and accommodating.
The food, the atmosphere and the service was absolutely phenomenal. As a matter of fact we ate here two nights in a row. Either get there early or get there an hour before close because it gets super busy. I can actually say that the food was fresh and delicious. I would like to see them grow to a bigger location but even so this is one of the best restaurants in corolla.

our first time staying in corolla but we kept striking out on good food….then we found urban kitchen. wow! food was fresh, large portions and we loved the combinations of flavors in the dishes. hostess and bartender were also exceptional. we will def be back. tomorrow. haha!
