I have come here several times and always had a great experience.
Today was a different story. The service was non existent. They never checked on us, I had asked for extra syrup for the waffles. It never came. They were almost irritated that we were there? The food was lukewarm at best. And everything was dirty. The silverware had food stuck on it. The glass doors and windows seem like they haven’t been cleaned in quite some time, the floors, tables, all of it. For the price they are charging for food, c’mon guys. Maybe today was just an off day and they will get back to being great.

Great Saturday brunch!
Ok, but that's about it...
Coffee is no bueno!
Grits no bueno!
This place is a total hidden gem! Nestled in the historic, quaint town of Cramerton, it offers a sophisticated menu curated by Chef Eddie. We visited for breakfast. We truly enjoyed our food and coffee. I had the Cream Brule which is phenomenal! Our server, Zoie, provided excellent customer service and made as feel at home. We will definitely be back, especially for some of those delectable desserts they have on display.
The coffee is good. My only complaint is that the people that ordered after us took our drink when it was called so we ended up getting theirs and it was smaller. This could be avoided by using names instead of what the drinks called.

i had a 5 star review but putting this up due to the ongoing unfixed issues with the A/C which has been an issue since ive been coming here last year, sometimes up to 80 degrees on a hot day. It currently remains unfixed in spite of numerous complaints from guests. I will change this back to a 5 star when they finally fix this.
Update: I stopped in to visit F&B again to see how they were doing, happy to say they changed the furniture, cozy and inviting.
However, I am afraid to say the food has a lot to be desired…the sausages tasted terrible (I did ask them to be well done…think the cook never bothered to read the request, same with the hash browns) I ordered Rye Toast, got I think potatoe or sourdough bread, but, not rye. I waited 10 minutes to be seated, the server struggled with getting me the bill…because two of things I ordered weren’t available and she had to remove them from the bill. Ordered biscuits and gravey…she came back and said they were out of gravy….really? How can a breakfast place be out of gravy for the biscuits and gravy. Anyway, I will not be back…not impressed with the service or food. Atmosphere is great…food is far from great…it was marginally ok.
I’m still looking for a great breakfast place in Belmont, I went here to Floyd & Blackies hoping this was going to be my place. Atmosphere was great, however the bistro height tables lacked a comfortable chair…a tiny aluminum seat was very uncomfortable…it made me think of wanting to leave the whole time, food was only ok, for $13.50 for 2 eggs, 2 small sausages and potatoes that were covered in grease wasn’t cutting it for me…menu was short on options and lacked what a good breakfast place offered.

Great place for ice cream for the kids and it's across the street from the entrance to the footbridge to Goat Park.

I enjoyed my salmon and mashed potatoes this evening, it was a great meal and our waitress was perfectly pleasant. The dessert selection is excellent, as well.

We went in for breakfast this morning. We wanted to sit outside and we could tell the staff wasn't pleased with that (we were the only ones, and so that meant extra walking for them). I had 2 scrambled eggs, and I asked for cheese, but I didnt see any on top, and thought that it could have been mixed it, but I didnt feel like there was any. They tasted okay and i appreciate they werent overcooked which sometimes happens. I tried to order a latte that was on the menu, but the server said they were actually out of that syrup flavor, so I ordered another flavor iced latte, and it was not good. They did take it off the tab for us. My husband liked his food. He ordered eggs over medium, sausage, toast and potatoes. I left there and got coffee somewhere else. I will say the manager was very nice and helpful, and I appreciate his effort to accommodate us.

Chill spot with good food. Our baby loved sitting on the patio and watching the fire trucks go by. We had a lovely time.
