Definitely will stop again on our next trip to the area. Our food was for to go but was still really good.
Carnitas are great!
Costel de camararon was on point. It so hard to find a place that makes good.

El Rio Mexican Restaurant offers tasty food, with fresh chips and a delicious homemade hot sauce. The menu includes options like a Taco Salad with whole beans, and many customers praise the Carnitas and Costel de camararon for their quality. The restaurant has an authentic Mexican feel, with friendly staff who interact well with families and kids. Parking is open air in a large lot sharing a strip mall, and the wide doors make it accessible for wheelchairs. Customers appreciate the quick service, hot food, and cold beer. While the food is highly enjoyed, some mention that customer service and attention to drink refills could be improved. Also, a 3% charge is added for credit card payments, so it is recommended to tip only on the food cost and not include taxes or the fee.
