“I took my Momma and we ordered take out but the girl was so nice last Saturday night and the amount of food and how good the food was is impressive! Probably going there again tomorrow night. Down home people, down home food and the prices for what we got were a great value! I recommend Riverside to anybody that loves fish. We were not disappointed. ?“

“After visiting the Daniel Stowe Gardens we decided to drive to downtown Belmont for a quick bite.Nellies offers classic Southern cooking that is locally sourced inspired by Nellie Jonas..Kevin Sr.s grandmother . Yes, part of the Jonas Brothers family! We decided to try their Pimento appetizer which was one of the few items that was GF. It is made with jalapenos and creme cheese which gives it a nice kick. It came with sliced veggies which could have been cut smaller but no crackers. I asked for crackers and they did not have any so the server suggested toast points. There was quite the wait to get them but they really made a difference even if they put an upcharge on the bill.I also decided to try a Sundrop which is a cross between Mountain Dew and Sprite in my opinion. Very refreshing.Prices are somewhat high for what you get and they close at 2pm and reopen later for dinner.Make sure you walk to the bathrooms to see all the very Jonas Brothers music awards hung on the walls. When in the charming town of Belmont, stop in for a quick bite or just a drink......Definitely worth trying.“

“A very nice mid-priced dining experience. Think Chili's, but with a more American menu. The food was excellent. I particularly recommend the fried cheese puffs. The service I received was also excellent and the bill was quite reasonable. Would recommend.Vegetarian options: Four vegetable side dishes can be chosen along with a salad to make a vegetable plate.“

“TLDR; Very friendly and fast service, nostalgic food with phenomenal flavor development and a welcoming environment. 10/10 recommend.Wow. This place was recommended by a friend and I’m so glad I went. It is clean, welcoming and when you first walk in it smells soooo good - which is always a good sign to me that the food is going to taste amazing.I got the Saturday special of beef tips over rice and gravy, hush puppies, with sides of green beans and baked beans. All the beans. This meal….when I tell you it brought me back to sitting at my grandmas on a weekend long forgotten, I mean it. This meal transported me through time. My grandma is no longer with me, and to feel connected again after many years…I’m now a loyal customer. The gravy was so flavorful, the beef tips had just the right amount of char and the green beans were fantastic!!My partner got the half BBQ chicken with French fries, mashed potatoes and cornbread. There was nothing left on his plate. I will say the hush puppies were better than the cornbread in my opinion, but I’m a hush puppy lover.Give this place a shot. It’s worth it!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space and I saw coloring and reading books below the hostess stand!Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and the entry way is wide. The doors are not automatic but definitely wide and accessible.“

“Now knows as Pies & Sides, we were waiting to get an opportunity to grab some pies as they have limited hours. I grabbed the meat pies and I have to say I am not sorry, they’re delicious. When I was in there the girl that checked me out was very friendly and told me that they will be open later on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings for take out only. I am definitely looking forward to that!“

“Food was amazing! Miss patti was even better.. atmosphere was a 4/5 only because of another patron in the restaurant that felt the need to give his servers a hard time because he had diabetes and that somehow was their fault that he didn't bring his own candy and his biscuits didn't come out fast enough (the restaurant was busy! Day of the eclipse) I hope that man can figure out how to take care of his own self and stop taking it out on everyone else. Either way, we really enjoyed our experience and we will be back :)“
