Great stop for a smashburger and fries after a day of hiking. The owner/cook is very nice and welcoming. We waited about 10 minutes for our burgers and got them to go. Homemade ranch also came with the meal. It was delicious and definitely hit the spot! We will be back.

Always the best place I stop all week, maybe even month. Every time I go the food is hot, fresh and delicious! He definitely knows his way around a grill! Beyond that it's affordable! For a family of four we can never go wrong and he's SO VERY thoughtful making sure the chicken in our babies quesadilla was chopped extra small. We always have a chat while we eat and it makes the small town mountain life worthwhile. Always looking forward to our next stop in! ?Parking: It's a small lot but good spots just be careful coming in and outKid-friendliness: Perfect place to take kiddos!Wheelchair accessibility: It's all flat and the doors have little to no door jam so it's easy to get in and out BUT the parking lot is on a pretty good grade/angle. It's kind of steep if you don't have a motorized chair.

Stopped by after a hike at hanging rock, AMAZING food, best and biggest burger around. Very affordable, less than 20$ for two huge burgers, two fries, and a side of chili. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back!!

We got the Dan River Smash-burger with fries! Smash burger was very tasty and fresh toppings beef and homemade slaw as well as homemade chili. Reasonably priced and great service.
