“Fantastic ice cream at a good price. Friends and I spent a weekend at Hanging Rock State Park, but this creamery became a trip highlight. We had no idea such a quality place exists. “First time here. Best little ice cream and coffee shop. We enjoyed the laid back atmosphere, the great tasting ice cream, the lady who served us was so very nice. We sat outside in the warmth and enjoyed the beauty of this town. To finish up our visit we shopped and picked up a few things created by local artisans at the Arts Place located in the same building.”

“HIDDEN GEM! It's only open certain time of the year, but it is well worth the wait. It sits next to the river and it is rustic and quaint. There is a back deck that you can sit and enjoy a beer while viewing the Dan river, or better yet, you can put your feet in the river while enjoying a beer. The place also has live music on weekends. Great for hikers, kayakers, wandered, explorers, and music lovers.”

“our family loves "Hole in the wall" locations, but here we were treated as outsiders who were in the way, and served food that could have come from the local grocery store frozen section. our waiter didn't even botherbto give her name. my daughter got hashbrowns that looked like chopped up wet worms. We will definitely not be going back.”

“Nice local bar. Pool tables, dart boards and a few other bar games. The bartender was terrific. She was friendly and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Nice outside patio as well.I ordered fries which unfortunately were not that good. No fault of hers just not too palatable.”

“My family and I have always enjoyed the food at milanos and still do. But our past 5 or so visits we have had horrible service! The waiters and waitresses act as if you aren't there. We already had our food but no drinks. We would ask for things such as Mariana, parmesan, or chili flakes and they would never be brought. Our drinks were never refilled. The only time the waitress was seen was after we were finished expecting a tip. I usually always tip and have even for the many horrible experiences but this time we left no tip. I will probably order take out from here on out because the food is amazing but the staff are rude and don't tend to their customers the way that they should!”

“Great people own this place. They help with all kinds of charities by having poker runs, raffles/door prizes and selling food to raise money. I think you have to have a membership but they're very friendly and would be glad to help you if you wanted to join their establishment.”

“We stopped in today, and had a great time! Bonnie was our waitress, and she was tremendous! She made you feel right at home and made sure we always had what we needed! I had the steak chimichanga lunch meal, and it was delicious! It was a mini one, but it came with rice and beans, so plenty of food. They have very good horchata too! Muy bueno!!”

It's the traditional American Chinese restaurant that I am used to which I enjoy, and I'd have to say out of all of them your establishment was definitely one of my favorites due to the friendliness, and style of this family.Keep doing what you're doing, and thank you for providing great traditional Chinese food!”

“I'm giving it 4 stars because there are quite a few less than stellar reviews, and one of the common things seems to be the amount of food. I got a hibachi chicken to go. There was less food than I normally get at other Japanese restaurants. It was good and they did give me 2 cups of white sauce. They were small but i didn't run out. That was a plus”
