I ordered take out sesame chicken and when I returned home I opened the container and it wasn't sesame chicken it was more like sweet and sour chicken with a very little bit of sesame sauce. I would not recommend China House and will not be eating here again.
Not a place to dine in if you are looking for romance or a night out. HOWEVER! The take out is perfect. The dumplings were exceptional, fresh and a good serving. I ordered egg drop soup and it was spot on. No pets or carrots- exactly how I had hoped.
I only ordered appetizers to take home and eat since it was late for a big meal. But I'm sure to give them a try. It is a family run business. Supporting small local businesses in Walnut cove.

China House is a friendly, family-owned Chinese restaurant that serves great traditional American-Chinese food. The restaurant has a large, open parking lot and is wheelchair accessible. The service is fast and friendly, with a father, mother, and son team working together to provide excellent customer service. The food is cooked well, with dishes like General Tso's chicken and fried rice receiving high praise. The family takes pride in their work and is respectful to customers. While some customers may have had a bad experience, the majority of reviewers have enjoyed their meals and appreciated the restaurant's traditional American-Chinese cuisine.
