I’ve been twice and the ice cream and waffle cones are wonderful. Lemon crunch ice cream in a blueberry waffle cone, mercy! Pricey but what a treat!
After visiting Lower Cascade Falls at Hanging Rock State Park early June last year, we stopped by Front Porch Creamery on our way back to our campsite in Walnut Cove, NC. Delicious and creamy and their waffle cones are made fresh to order! Our favorite by far was the Coffee Ice Cream.
Hands down some of the best ice cream in North Carolina! Get a freshly made (warm!) chocolate waffle cone with your ice cream - you won't regret it!

Absolutely the best Ice cream I have ever had. I had vanilla with the original waffle cone and it was worth the wait. Our family hiked Hanging Rock, our girls swam at the beach and we had Ice cream after, there is a reason it has 5 star reviews.

Absolutely delicious ice cream, a great treat after a hike at Hanging Rock State Park. The Coffee Toffee and the Apple Pie were great flavors!

4 words: fresh flavored waffle cones! There are 5 flavors made to order so it’s warm and crispy. Lots of ice cream flavors made fresh as well. It’s also fairly priced. Outdoor seating only but plenty of shade. Highly recommend for anyone that likes ice cream.
