Unreal ice cream. The flight is the way to go if you want to try a bunch. Milkshakes are also amazing with their whip.Our fave find in the area - plus the staff are all so nice. The Hufflepuff and Butter Pecan are unreal and they have an awesome selection of gluten free and DF ice cream that you would be shocked how good they taste. 10/10

We visited this place after finding their food truck at an event. Loved the ice cream and found their place in Davidson. It's a cute little place with open area for seating. They have a lot of choices and it looks like they have some seasonal varieties. Tried the black sesame, cookies N cream and couple of vegan varieties (biscoff, coconut). Cookies N cream was the best and all the other choices were excellent although coconut was just okay.

Absolutely the best ice cream in the area! I recommend everything they have!My absolute favorite is their strawberry & my wife's favorite is the pumpkin spice latte (tastes just like a cold pumpkin spice latte)!

I was drawn in by the unique flavors they offer here. I love unique ice cream flavors. My husband and I shared a flight, so we tried quite a few of their flavors.Sadly, I was a bit disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I didn't think it was that flavorful. It wasn't bad, the flavors just didn't stand out to me.

The thought of doing an ice cream flight was just an amazing idea. You get to pick six flavors, I would say a half scoop of each flavor and all for $9! Once you have tried your six, go grab yourself a cup, or even a taco!Pictured are the following flavors -Pumpkin Spice, Campfire S'mores, UF-Oat, Java Chip, Butter Pecan and Strawberry Fields’s. All of them amazing except for the pumpkin spice. It was too heavy on an allspice/ginger flavor made it rather unpleasant. The others were fantastic with a first/second pick of Butter Pecan and UF-Oat (oatmeal cookie ice cream).There are picnic tables, games and parking both in the front, on the side and on the back lawn.Give this place a try !

Had their ice-cream at the renaissance festival today. I loved the presentation. It was the best salted caramel I've had in a long while!

had this at festival in the park, wish it wasn’t 30 miles from me because it’s honestly the BEST icecream i’ve ever had. i had it last year at the festival too & it’s safe to say nothing at all cancompare — salted caramel is to die for !! ?

It's out in the sticks, but worth it. The strawberry ice cream was terrific, but other flavors were meh. Parking seemed limited and was on loose gravel. No indoor seating but lots of picnic tables and lots of fun games for the kids.

They have ICE CREAM FLIGHTS!! Yes I got 6 different scoops of ice cream for 13$ or something like that. Workers were pleasant and super excited I let them pick their favorite 6 to give me.

The Banana Pudding ice cream is to die for! Has the vanilla wafers in it and everything. The butter beer ice cream was also perfect ??

Amazing experience. Amazing ice cream. We love ice creams but never had anything even close to Ellie May’s freshness. Seriously DANG good! Love it! Wish you guys were open everyday.. we’ll wait for the weekend every week just for these ice creams..

WOW..... This is a must. I had the oreo flavor in a waffle cone, both times we went and it did not disappoint. All the flavors that my family tried they loved.There are a few picnic tables to sit at, corn hole, and a couple other games outside to play while you hang out and enjoy your ice cream.I am definitely going back when we are in Davidson, NC again!

Amazing ice cream and a big selection of unique flavors. The staff was great too; it's a hidden gem.
