We had an AMAZING dining experience here tonight! Brooke, our bartender, is a top notch professional. She provided GREAT service and perfect wine pairings. Everything about our date night was made so much more enjoyable by the entire team. Victoria is also an incredible host. She and Brooke went above and beyond tonight. We grew up in the service industry and if you're looking for fantastic food accompanied by top notch friendly service, this is the place! We will DEFINITELY be back!!

Hadn't been here before but we have driven by it for years. Decided to take my wife out for date night there. Flatiron did not disappoint. She had the short rib, I had the NC trout. Both were fantastic. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is upscale casual, and a nice split between formal and casual. The experience and food was worth the price for a nice night out with my wife, and a after dinner walk through downtown Davidson on a pleasant fall evening was a nice addition. This will certainly not be our last visit.

Flatiron Kitchen & Taphouse is one of my favorite spots in Davidson. The vibe is cozy but still feels a little elevated, and you can tell the food is made with real care. Everything that comes off their wood-fired grill has amazing flavor, and the seasonal dishes are always fun to try. Their wine, beer, and bourbon selection is great too — you can tell they actually put thought into it.
The staff is warm and attentive without being pushy, which makes the whole experience even better. Our server, Brooke, was so helpful in helping us decide what to get! Whether it’s a date night or just treating yourself, Flatiron never disappoints. It’s truly a gem.

This is our fave go-to when in the region ! Service is always superb and tonight was no exception! We had such friendly, knowledge and welcoming service from Savanah. She sold me on ordering the short rib entree and it was evident why they sell out of this one! Omg. Amazing. And the carrots that came with it are probably the best flavor I’ve ever had anywhere. She says it’s a combination of the chefs special seasonings and literally roasting them over the fire. My husband has the salmon bruschetta and the fish and chips and he thought they were amazing. Loved the dill sauce. Would have bought a bottle of it if it was for sale! I accidentally left my single behind and the staff quickly found them until I retuned. All in all, grab a reservation and make this a must stop when the charlotte, Davidson or Lake Norman area!

I had pretty high hopes for Flatiron Kitchen—and it did not disappoint!
I tried the bruschetta, salmon with risotto, sliders, and a beer sampler.
The salmon bruschetta was PHENOMENAL. I’ve never been a big bruschetta fan, but this dish completely changed my mind—I almost ordered a second round.
The risotto was incredible. I’ll be honest, I don’t even fully know what risotto is, but paired with the perfectly cooked salmon filet it delivered a flawless mix of seasoning and flavor in every bite.
Next up were the sliders. I didn’t realize sliders could be this good. 😩 I only wish I had more room, but after everything else I was absolutely stuffed.
Overall, the food didn’t just meet expectations—it blew them out of the water. The prices aren’t cheap, but the quality and flavor make it more than worth it.
