I had pretty high hopes for Flatiron Kitchen—and it did not disappoint!
I tried the bruschetta, salmon with risotto, sliders, and a beer sampler.
The salmon bruschetta was PHENOMENAL. I’ve never been a big bruschetta fan, but this dish completely changed my mind—I almost ordered a second round.
The risotto was incredible. I’ll be honest, I don’t even fully know what risotto is, but paired with the perfectly cooked salmon filet it delivered a flawless mix of seasoning and flavor in every bite.
Next up were the sliders. I didn’t realize sliders could be this good. 😩 I only wish I had more room, but after everything else I was absolutely stuffed.
Overall, the food didn’t just meet expectations—it blew them out of the water. The prices aren’t cheap, but the quality and flavor make it more than worth it.
10/10 would recommend!

I had the privilege of hosting my first business meeting here, and it exceeded every expectation. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, creating an atmosphere that was both professional and inviting. From the ease of parking to the friendly faces throughout the community, everything about the experience was seamless. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. We started with the hummus and fresh vegetables, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The Caesar salad salad, with its bold anchovy dressing, was a stand out. Whatever the chef is doing behind the scenes is nothing short of exceptional! The culinary talent here truly sets flat iron apart. This is more than just a restaurant. It’s an experience. We made reservations to ensure we had seating on a beautiful Saturday evening. We had our dog with us and were welcomed with a bowl of water for her in the outside seating area. The staff loved on her in between taking our orders and bringing our food. Drinks were good. I had the espresso martini special and he had a Tom Collins. His first drink was pretty weak so second was a double and much better. Pretzel bites for an appetizer. They were hot and yummy. Food was good. I had the chicken breast and he had the steak frites. Not amazing but solidly good. Service was excellent. Great spot to people watch and enjoy the downtown area in Davidson.

Flatiron Tap House in Davidson delivers an extraordinary dining experience. I had the roasted chicken—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. But the standout? The house fries. Crisp, seasoned just right, and absolutely top-tier. I often judge a restaurant by its fries alone, and Flatiron passes with flying colors. Add in a happy, well-trained staff, and the charm of downtown Davidson right outside the door, and you’ve got a spot worth visiting again and again.
