Great service, we had come in just 30 minutes before they closed and they treated us so well. I normally don't like to go to a restaurant so close to closing time because generally they want to get you out of there ASAP. We were respectful and got out as soon as we could but they had wonderful service and were very accommodating.

We so badly wanted to like this place. We got the Godfather and were very disappointed. Lack of cheese and overall flavor. Little to no sauce. We just moved here 1.5 years ago and still haven’t found good pizza so I’m starting to believe this is just the NC way? Regardless, disappointed for the price and flavor.

I’ve learned along the way there are 3 components that are the genetic makeup to a restaurant. In no particular order they are: Food, service and location.Food: unique, yet familiar. Pizza is almost always cheese, pepperoni, etc. with maybe a unique crust or sauce. Their menu is well thought out and you can tell some serious “chefiness” was taken into consideration. I’ll leave you with this: GET THE TUPELO HONEY.Service: our server was the most energetic, charismatic and enthusiastic server. She was set on me trying the Tupelo honey and normally I don’t go for sweet but she convinced me it wouldn’t be overpowering. The pie was perfectly balanced with sweet, savory, salty and spicy. Kudos to management for finding someone in this tough labor market who is such a shinning light!Location: Main Street in Downtown Davidson-10/10 Mic drop.Very rarely does a joint hit all 3, but when it does, it’s something very special.

By far the best pizza in the area. Everything there is awesome except for Rosie. She had a piss poor attitude, and I feel sorry for anyone who employs her now or in the future. As much as I love the pizza there she made me seriously question if I ever wanted to come again. After taking a serious attitude with me when I placed an order over the phone she made a scene in the restaurant when I came to pick my order up.Again, let me say that the pizza here is amazing and that this was an isolated incident and I'm not trying to be a "Karen". I am a small business owner and if one of my employees acted like this in my establishment I would want to know. So if the owner is reading this, I would have a sit down with her to discuss her utter lack of people skills. I live just down the street and would be more than happy to come in and discuss my experience.

Came here for my birthday with 4 friends. Waiter was so sweet however the food came out for each person 35 mins from each other. My friend got a salad with grilled chicken first which looked good but soaked in dressing... 35 mins later my friends pene came out (looked small), then my friends personal pizza came out and then mine (the birthday girls) last. We were there from 6-8:30 and my food came out in the last 15 mins so I had to take it to go! It was weird we all watched eachother eat. The waiter was so apologetic. I went inside and asked the waiter if they would be able to make a salad and comp it and he got the manager to do so. She actually came out at the end and was so sorry. We didn't make it a huge deal or anything. At the end she gave me a $25 dollar gift card to come back. Which I thought was nice that she tried to make a redemption. However the next day I (today) I went to eat the salad that they comped and omg !! The burrata on it was BAD ! it was so sour and smelt horrible! I had the throw it out. My boyfriend eats anything and he tired it and he said it was definitely bad. Safe to say I won't be back. I appreciate that they tried to redeem themselves but with the burrata being sour 2 stars.

Severely disappointed! We typically don't splurge on pizza, but we made an exception tonight, because we were craving Mandolinos. About 1/3 of the pie was burnt to a crisp. I was trying to upload a pic but it wouldn't let me. We all agreed the Hungry Howies we got for the kids was a better pie and about 1/4 of the price. Sadly, we will likely not eat here again, unless they clean it up. That pizza NEVER should've left the kitchen.

I have always loved the food. However paying $17.50 for Gnocchi and THIS IS THE PORTION. IS ROBBERY!!

Ordered the Tupelo honey pizza and it was barely any cheese on it l. I felt like I didn't get my money worth especially since this speciality pizza was $29. Also, my mozzarella sticks had no cheese pull which is completely unacceptable!

Cozy and comfortable, great tables by the street window. Menu has both 18" pies as well as personal sizes. Just a bit more costly here, but a value for the quality of taste and portions. Garlic knots are worth traveling for!Parking: Street parking right around the corner, and on weekends, town hall usually has open spaces which is also very close on the same side of the street.

I’d been searching for a truly fantastic pizza place in and around Charlotte since I moved to the area 6 years ago, and I can now say with full confidence that Mandolino’s is that place; a one of a kind and exceptional experience for pizza lovers. First and foremost their pizza is absolutely incredible, whether it’s a margarita pizza or their tupelo honey (me and my fiancé’s favorite), it’s always a 10/10 across the board. And their appetizers are just as good, the garlic knots are buttery and cooked to perfection, they also have some of the best lemon pepper wings in the Charlotte area! And they have fabulous desserts too, their cannoli is my personal favorite. And on top of all of that, their staff is so, so nice and welcoming, they help create such a warm and comforting atmosphere. I can’t recommend it enough, my fiancé and I have told all of our friends and family about it, and we go there every time we have a date night!

Quick lunch (shrimp and pasta) with cannolis for dessert. Simple but delicious.Chef's kiss. ?Parking: The restaurant is on Main Street downtown. Lots of businesses around so parking is severely limited depending on time of day.
