I read earlier reviews, some were negative but, I gotta tell ya, I absolutely enjoyed this place. The smoked chicken could have had more smokey flavor. The brisket was some of the most tender cuts I have ever had. The pulled pork was good. The patatoe salad was excellent and the Mac & cheese was good. One of the better bbq places in NC. If you visited a few years ago, I suggest you try again. Very friendly staff and clean restrooms (unlike many bbq places).

Response to restaurant after responding to me: okay sure but when given a 20% tip upon ordering, they could at least bring our beer to our table and not leave it sitting on a counter where we could not see them, after telling us they would bring them out. Shows how disengaged they are

Absolutely delicious southern food. Their beef brisket grilled cheese was amazing. They also have a a wide variety of amazing sauces. Will certainly be back.
Never got anyone to take my order. I simply left. As to your response. I'm no idiot and know how to read a sign to order here!!! Your employee was on the phone and simply stood there and looked at me!!! Never once for the whole time I was there did he acknowledge me. No matter, I will never come back.

Honestly this place deserves more business, I used to eat here periodically on my lunch break. The main cook always remembered what I ordered and had it ready in a matter of minutes. Food is delicious and plentiful so you won’t leave wanting more. I would highly recommend the sliders or the brisket grilled cheese!
