I read earlier reviews, some were negative but, I gotta tell ya, I absolutely enjoyed this place. The smoked chicken could have had more smokey flavor. The brisket was some of the most tender cuts I have ever had. The pulled pork was good. The patatoe salad was excellent and the Mac & cheese was good. One of the better bbq places in NC. If you visited a few years ago, I suggest you try again. Very friendly staff and clean restrooms (unlike many bbq places).

food is good, service not so much

Response to restaurant after responding to me: okay sure but when given a 20% tip upon ordering, they could at least bring our beer to our table and not leave it sitting on a counter where we could not see them, after telling us they would bring them out. Shows how disengaged they are

Honestly this place deserves more business, I used to eat here periodically on my lunch break. The main cook always remembered what I ordered and had it ready in a matter of minutes. Food is delicious and plentiful so you won’t leave wanting more. I would highly recommend the sliders or the brisket grilled cheese!
