This location was very busy on August 31st, 2025 and the employees were rushing to make orders. We ordered four whitsers and all of them were soup-ey and hardly had toppings. The couple in front of us asked for theirs to be remade. Multiple people in the store were verbally complaining. I have been going to Whits for years and this was disappointing. We would rather have longer wait times with better quality.

Poor customer service. I drove 20 minutes to the store to pick up a pregnancy craving for my wife and 20 minutes back, just to find out the order was not made correctly. When I called to see what could be done about the situation, I was told there was nothing to be done. Do better, Whit’s!

Love the custard and customer service is amazing.

Overall poor experience.
Parking is a gravel lot and grass field. Interior is cramped. Toppings are sparse and not mixed in...so, most of your custard is plain.
Quite disappointing.

The new location in Davidson has very limited parking. The new facility has more indoor space and seating. Disappointed in the selection of custard sandwich cookies. The cookies are now paper thin, versus the thicker versions at the old store, especially the chocolate chip ones. Prices have increased.

Great custard spot in the Davidson area, very kind workers who are helpful and kind, great outdoor seating options, unique flavor combinations and mix-in’s. Still moving into the new place so it doesn’t quite feel like “home” (though they are literally in a home), but fantastic they got a prime spot again!

We love this place and visit often! Our favorites are sugar cookie (without sprinkles 😜), birthday cake, and cookies & cream.

the Davidson Delight-vanilla custard with brownie bites and fudge swirls. Sea salt caramel custard with Heath bars mixed in. Bourbon praline pecan. chocolate custard with raspberries and chocolate flakes mixed in. These are a few of my favorite things.

my husband & I were excited when Whits moved in across the street from us! we walk over here at least once a week. don’t understand the reviews about the teenagers working there…the kids have always been friendly & doing their job! they’re just kids, not perfect 🫶
oh and the custard is delicious!!!

Love love love the frozen custard here! I've been to other locations in the state and they've never failed to surprise us with innovative creations! My only gripe is that I wish they used slightly better ingredients in their custard pints. The custard is thick and creamy, and the flavors are unique and delicious 😋
