brought my fiancé here for a date night since we don’t get out a lot, plus he’s never been here before. took at least 7 to 10 minutes to be greeted. was not busy btw. took our drink orders and came back to the table and proceeded to read off a script of the specials and couldn’t look up at least once to try to engage with us. we skipped on an app and went straight to the main course she did not come back to the table until his soup came out. we received our food which was delicious she came back to the table once to ask how things were we said good. my fiancé went without water for 10 minutes. we thought maybe she was just shy. no she was laughing and engaging with her other tables and basically profiled us not sure why but after i saw that i was ready to go. i asked for a box for my chicken i had left over she very aggressively slammed the box in front of me.
needless to say will be back but not with that server..
We were out celebrating and Chillfire was perfect for dinner. The food was amazing! I got the chillfire chicken and for dessert we got the churro cake. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be back.
Excellent food. The servers are pros and have been there for years. Atmosphere is warm and relaxing. We love this place and go often for date night.
Chillfire is a great place for a well prepared and served meal. We had a broad assortment of the dinner entrees, and we all really enjoyed our meals. The steaks were perfectly cooked, sides are well paired, and there was a nice selection of cocktails and appetizers. The desserts were very good, don’t skip the closing act!
We had a party of 5 with a reservation for 6 pm on Saturday evening, May 10th. The reservation was made 1 week ago. When we arrived at 5:50 pm we were told that the restaurant had overbooked and there was a wait time. Hostess said that she had no idea how long the wait would be, and that they were doing the best they could do. Big disappointment!! We ended up going next-door to an Italian restaurant instead.
First time. Incredible menu. There is something for everyone here. The service is phenomenal. Toni is a friendly face with exceptionally dedicated professionalism. They made my night! Look at this birthday card they gave me! Birthday fishes!
It was amazing took my best friend there for her birthday and she loved everything. The food was phenomenal the service was a 10 stars and atmosphere was so relaxing and pleasant we set out side it was just perfect loved everything about this place my second time there and I will be back a lot more we had the ribeye and fries and the potatoes cake and oysters Rockefeller and angry lobster and a huge salad we split and still had a lot left over then she had the key lime cake which was out of this world and the cream brulee was to die for I have never at a steak that almost melt in your mouth. Plus I order a big meal for my husband to take home and it was still awesome when he got it several hours later highly recommend this place

It would be one star if the time last year was as horrible as this time. Between the $32 overcooked mahi or the four dollar soda water the food quality is so poor that they drowned it and sauce because it would taste like rotten fish otherwise. Mahi was overcooked to the point of fish jerky, Rockefeller oysters had so much Garbage “hollandaise sauce” on it which tasted like cheese whiz, seared tuna was fishier than the seaweed salad they served with it. Drowned in sauce. Definitely not Sushi grade. They even Overcooked the rice so it was disgusting and mushy
The servers are nice enough, but don’t try to claim a white linen Table service when they don’t even know to clear your plates before dinner. Literally served dinner over Empty dirty plates
This place sucks. If the prices were comparable to McDonald’s, I still wouldn’t come here

The Bartender Marc was Amazing, and is the only reason this rating isn't lower. I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna as an appetizer and it was just okay. I ordered the Colorado in the attached photo. The Lobster was good but they call it an Angry Lobster because it's supposed to be spicy.... it was not!!! I am a Caribbean girl and I am used to spice, and kept looking for it to kick in. The gentleman seated next to me said his wasn't spicy either. The Filet was tender... medium rare... it was okay. I have had better!!! I am accustomed to Fine Dining, and I expected more!!! I mentioned that my Bday was on Thursday, and normally a restaurant would bring out a dessert. That never happened!!! I could have gone to Fleming's or Eddie V's for the money I spent. I will stick with what I know from now on. I will not return here.

Found this place by accident, but glad we did. Decided to have dinner and was pleasantly surprised.
The menu has some interesting preparations, including the angry lobster appetizer. I wanted to like this dish so badly and was really excited about the description, but the execution fell short. The breading was heavy and had a burnt flour taste. I wish they used something lighter like a panko breading, and didn't fry the lobster quite so hard. Also, the dipping sauce was rather bland. A spicy aioli would have been a better compliment. My niece had the Mountain trout dish and said it was just ok. Even though the trout was blackened, it was still under-seasoned and a bit dry.
Now, onto the good stuff. I had the premium aged ribeye topped with roasted garlic brie butter, and it was delicious! Perfectly cooked and wonderfully juicy and flavorful. I had the smoked gouda cauliflower (just ok, and no taste of gouda at all), and the caprese salad, which was great - very fresh and light. I'd probably recommend the mashed potatoes instead of the cauliflower in this case. The steak is highly recommended.
The star of the evening is definitely the bread pudding. They nailed the flavor and added the perfect amount of nuts to balance texture. The creme anglaise and bourbon caramel sauces are absolutely delicious and wonderfully topped the bread pudding. I could drink this stuff; it's that good! Topped with some vanilla ice cream, dessert was to die for!!! Definitely big enough for 2-3 people to share. My niece had the keylime pie. I didn't try it but she enjoyed it and it was also a mile high.
The atmosphere was really nice and casually comfortable, including covered patio dining. Service was really good and staff were friendly. Will definitely be returning here.
Parking: Lots of parking spaces, but not if you need handicap parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair friendly once inside, but getting in is challenging. Handicapped parking is nowhere near the restaurant. It's actually down near an Italian restaurant. It's really disappointing to see spaces immediately outside of the restaurant door and not one of them are Handicapped.

There are so many places we could go but this is always our go to. Food, service, and atmosphere is always incredible. I’m so thankful Denver has this sweet spot. Tom makes sure the customers are 100 percent satisfied. I don’t think there has ever been a time that he has not checked on our table. Lexi was our server for my birthday dinner and she was so sweet. Delaney brought us dessert and almost sang for me :)Hands down, we always love this place. Support local <3
