It's not a fancy place to eat, and lots of folks get their food to go, but the food is made to order and delicious every time. I rate Chinese restaurants by comparing their chicken with cashew nuts dish and by far China II is perfect every time. The carrots and celery have just the right bit of crunch that let's you know everything is made fresh.

The General Tsos was decent, not great, not bad. The crab Rangoon “cheese wonton” was embarrassing with the amount of filling. When I say it had basically no filling, I mean it. If I took all 10 wontons and combined the filling, you could fill up a cap to a bottle of soda. I am NOT kidding.
That wasn’t the worst part about this place though. They are the most unpleasant and rude people you could imagine. Not a hello, not a thank you, nothing. Even ordering on the phone they were rude. Do yourself and go to Rice Bowl by the Food Lion on 16, they are the nicest people you could imagine and deserve your business.

Food quality has declined terribly to say the least. we have been coming to China II Denver NC for the last 28 years and can attest that within the last 6 years the quality of the food has been going from bad to worse. quite a shame because it used to be really great back in the day. do not recommend at all.

Cannot say enough how much we LOVE China 2 in Denver, NC. Yes, of course we are addicted to their food…. but the fact that the woman up front knows our order, knows what extra sauces we like and makes sure our meal is ready to go❤️. Great restaurant and family to give your business to!

Very fresh and my food was ready in about 15 or so minutes even on a very busy night. They have also never messed up my order or not included something in my take out order which I have had issues with at other restaurants.

Horrible customer service. The lady who answers the phone hung up on me twice while placing an order and her reason was because I asked her for my total. On the way to china king. Horrible customer service.

The food here used to be good but I ordered last night and it was truly terrible. The sweet and sour chicken was so over fried and tough. About half of the pieces didn’t have chicken at all. It was the most bizarre experience. I asked if the chicken and mixed vegetables came with snow peas and was assured that it did, but my order did not include even one. I was sick all night after eating the food. I will not ever be going back here which is very sad but I cannot risk it.

Nasty food, General Tsao, meat tasted old, even a fishy taste. The fried rice tasted like a dirty refrigerator. Their homemade egg rolls were disgusting, I think the oil they are using is rank and that destroyed the food flavor. Or maybe that's being generous. I wouldn't spend another dime at this establishment

I absolutely love China II! The food here is fantastic, and I find myself craving it every day. It reminds me so much of the typical New York City takeout Chinese. The dishes are flavorful and always hit the spot. On top of that, the staff is kind and incredibly efficient, making every visit a pleasure. If you're looking for delicious Chinese food, this is the place to go!
