DELICIOUS! I get the combo everytime because everything is sooo good. Pulled pork, brisket and chicken wings along with macaroni & cheese, hush puppies and sweet potato casserole. Highly recommend.

I was craving ribs and the place I initially wanted to order from was out so I decided to get some from here. The ribs had a weird smell... it's hard to describe- it was like old smoked ribs. The taste wasn't any better. They were tender, but tasted bland, bland, bland. The bbq sauce helped a lot, but I was very, very ? disappointed.

This place really wasn't great as far as food quality. I ordered a double scoop ice cream cup for $4 and they only filled the cup half full. Btw you can go to Wal-Mart and get a large tub of ice cream for $2 which is a much better deal. Only one of the employees was wearing a mask. However the employees were friendly but theyvshoukd wear a mask and fill up the cup to the top.

Honestly, the service is deteriorating. The food is good- pulled pork and fish are tasty and cooked well; however, I sat for 20 minutes after paying only to find out that my to go order had been sitting on the table for 15 min. The cashier said she would let me know when it was done- and didn't. I was actually tempted to demand a refund but my family had already been waiting an hour for dinner and it was almost 8pm at this point. My suggestion- don't tip until AFTER you get (and check) your food. By the way, listening to the staff talk about "getting out of here soon" means that their job isn't that high of a priority which probably explains why my to go order sat on the counter for so long getting cold. It's sad- this used to be one of the better places in the area but perhaps when the name changed (new owners?) that's when it started to go downhill. My family used to eat here once every two weeks, now it's more like every two months at best.

The food was great but I was very disappointed that I witnessed not one employee wearing a mask when I picked up our carry out order through the drive thru. Two employees had them around their chin only and no one else had one at all. I counted at least 8 employees from the window all in a very tight space. Masking for employees is required in NC and it is disappointing that a business would completely disregard the health of their employees and their customers. I wouldn't have ordered if I hadn't already ordered and paid online. We won't be back due to this.

Ordered on line 1/2 rack ribs with the Brunswick stew and Cajun corn. Ribs may have been slightly over cooked but still tasted great like the rest of it. First time customer and I am sure to be back to try something new.
