The wait staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food is excellent—great quality, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. Prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes and overall experience. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. You’ve absolutely got to try it!

For best service, use DoorDash. Our first time ordering via DoorDash was a great experience and the food is great for the price compared to other pricier sushi locations. Ordering for a pick-up, however, lead to a disaster.
As other reviews note multiple times, customer service is abysmal. I had an order placed at 5:15pm and was told it would take 20 minutes. I arrived at 5:45pm and was told five more minutes. I was confused why large DoorDash orders seemed to be getting priority when those orders aren’t open until 5:30pm, but was told the kitchen had gotten backed up. The truth, as later was discovered, was my food ticket was never in the kitchen to begin with and it would be 10 more minutes. I eventually received my food at 6:15PM. Originally, aside from the other food I ordered, I placed an order for 2 Hibachi Chicken dinners. I only received one. Upon going back into question why one of my items was missing, it turns out, despite having my having my order read back to me, a second order for a Hibachi Chicken was not placed.
In all of this, no customer retention or customer service practices were utilized. I was just out of luck, as they say. It is now 7:00pm and I have just gotten home to find that I am missing gyozas. While the food is good, I don’t think it’s worth the lack of a good customer experience and would highly recommend choosing elsewhere.

Very disappointing experience. I had a simple spicy tuna roll, it was 98 percent cucumber, 1 percent spicy mayo, 1 percent actual tuna. The service was flat and un welcoming. With other more enjoyable experiences around I don’t see a reason to come back.
Food quality has gone way down over the past few years and the prices have gone up by about 25%. Probably my last time going.

Excellent lunch today @ Kanpai. Tuesday is $3- off apps so had to go heavy on the appetizers! We had the tuna tower (which I’ve found is the best in the area), tuna trio (sashimi), gyoza and a cucumber salad with seaweed. Absolutely love their sashimi here.
