I love this place. Great beer. The owners, bartenders, and all staff are the best.
They also have really good live music every weekend.
Awesome place! Great beer and atmosphere!!!
Great beer! Some nights there is live music and food trucks.
The Butcher Grill was in the house and it was incredible
Great beer. Nice variety of styles. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Enjoyable visit.
I was excited to check out Lake Norman brewery at a concert scheduled for May 4. My sisters and mom were going to join me for a rare girl’s night out. As the event approached, the forecast was looking pretty wet so I called to see if the event was being rescheduled. I was told that it was not being rescheduled but had changed from a full band outside to a duet inside. That was not the vibe I was hoping for for my 75 year old, Fleetwood Mac loving, hearing aid fighting mom. Outdoor bands are all she enjoys. I said we weren’t interested and could I get a refund. She said, “Anyone who does not attend will get a refund.” I asked if I needed to do anything else and was told no, that it would happen automatically. It didn’t. Over a month later, I went to the facebook page (which I don’t follow) to get contact info and saw they had a make up event the day before. I emailed the manager, Marilou Martin, about my refund and was told, I wouldn’t be receiving one because I didn’t cancel 24 hours in advance of the make up event.’ Those are two very different messages coming from LNB and reflect horrible customer service. I am out $80 because they lied to me.
The beer and staff were fine, but the patio has no smoking signs everywhere. On the tables, on the walls, yet the entire time we were there I’m being blasted with cigarette smoke. I had my 8 month old with me and it irritates me having people smoke and having him ingesting second hand smoke. I asked the staff to address it and they did but the group continued to do it anyway. It’s 2024 and peoples brain cells are still so fried they are smoking cigarettes when there are 40 other alternatives that are healthier and non invasive for other people. Especially infants.
Terrific neighborhood brewery.
I really enjoy the venue but the staff can be extremely rude at times. I walked in once when they weren't busy and tried to order and the one bartender made a comment that we didn't matter because we didn't know what we wanted and went to help someone else. I actually did know what I wanted. Another time I ordered a beer that usually comes out with a lot of head and it takes a little while to finish the pour. I always say I am not in a rush and will come back. This last bartender said under her breathe in a snarky voice, it will be done in 5 seconds. So rude and unfriendly bartenders, but great atmosphere. And I frequent this place on a regular basis and have thought about not coming back just because of the bartenders. So if you can get past them, definitely visit as the venue is amazing.
Lake Norman Brewery is a fantastic place to visit! Great beer and a cool spot to hang out with friends. One of our favorite places to visit in North Carolina.
Went out to talk with friends and enjoy the evening and I thought the place was really cool. The environment was enjoyable. We happened to be there for Trivia Tuesday so that was fun!

Really nice, chilled out vibe, with tasty food (chicken tenders & spicy potato wedges) from the food truck on site. The beers were nice. We sat outdoors with our dog and enjoyed the music bingo (although the speaker had certainly seen better days! :)
Wide variety of craft beer
We have been coming here a few times a year when we are in town since they opened. A nice local Brewery.Great outdoor area; kid and dog friendly. Also a great indoor seating area. A nice place for families. The upstairs room can be rented for small gatherings and you can use your own caterer. Plenty of parking. The heaters were great on a cool night. The Bartenders didn’t seem to be happy to be there. No Pilsner or Kölsch Beers offered. Lots of IPA’s though ?Today's food was provided by Pawpaws & Muchachos Tacos. They were not the best we have experienced. We will give it another try next week.
Good selection of brews. Good bands.
Great night! Music by the Dial Tones. Oktoberfest!
