I had an amazing experience at matiellos with my family the food was delightful we are definitely coming back soon, service was outstanding, everyone is super friendly they make you feel very welcome since you get to the door, if you want to get the best bolognese pasta in town you definitely need to visit them! Service was horrendous tonight - we had to ask for our server multiple times - she never came to check on us, had no idea if our food was to our liking because we never saw her after she took our order. Bruscetta was soggy & lacked flavor. Pasta served with the eggplant parm was mushy. Our other 3 entrees were edible but nothing special. All 3 versions of the tiramisu tasted like they were made with jello. Our bill finally came after asking for it a few times and they tried to charge us for several things that we didn't order! Definitely a disappointing experience all around.

New to the area and finally got a chance to try this place out. What can I say about Mattiellos House of Lasagna? The answer is: plenty.My wife and I ordered the Lasagna Flight. Priced just right at 30 dollars, what we received was 4 pieces of slop nestled snugly in takeout containers that wouldn't even fit leftovers from a home cooked meal. I haven't seen a flight this disastrous since the Boeing door flew off the plane.You can try to label this authentic Italian cuisine all you want, but for 30 dollars you best be serving a decent portion. The "lasagna" was ice cold , miniature and flat - even a Dwayne Johnson movie has more layers than this.Would not have expected this from such a prestigious NYC chef, but if this is what he was serving in Manhattan no wonder he moved down here. I just hope the house is not made of lasagna because it would fold like a cheap suit.Will NOT be coming back!!

We have been searching for 7 years since we moved to the US for ‘proper’ lasagna and we have found it!The restaurant opened at 4.30pm and when we left every single table was full and I can see why!Service amazing and food was out of this world! We ended with the Tiramisu flight and it was a solid 10!We will be back!

Amazing food and family-friendly atmosphere. As a man coming from an Italian rich background, I have to say that Mattiello's food is second to none when it comes to taste and Italian authenticity! The lasagna is the best one I’ve ever had, highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
The food is magnificent. Hard to find such authentic Italian food these days but this does the trick. Very calm environment that brought intimacy and homey vibes to my experience. Would definitely recommend and am still thinking about the lasagna I had.

I recently had a HORRIBLE experience with a server named Bea. Her attitude was horrible and made my friends and I feel bad, almost like we were bothering her by being there. It’s really a shame as we were really excited to try this restaurant out. The managers seriously need to sort out their staff situation because if ALL your servers are as rude as this one you’re going to lose a LOT of business…Never coming back again.
