Old worn appearance of building inside. Our food was wonderful and plentiful. Our server seemed new but she was trying hard and was very attentive.

If I could give less than one star, I absolutely would. We have had two HORRIBLE experiences at this location in the past. It's been a number of years since then, so we decided to give it another try. Where do I begin? We stood at the door 10 minutes before we were told there would be an additional 10 minute wait. (We were the ONLY people waiting.) There were plenty of tables available, but we were informed that they “only had 5 servers, and had 3 parties coming in.” There was only 2 of us! If you can't find the time or effort to serve TWO people, good luck to being able to serve multiple parties. This was the LAST time that we will go here.

If I could give this place negative stars I would.. number one, and unbeknown to me until we left, it has a 91 health rating, Almost a B. You have to be close to having rats in the food to get a B rating. Even that aside, its by far the WORST restaurant in Denver. Ridiculously slow service & badly cooked food (how do you mess up brocolli? They found a way!) The guy we had was a complete moron. Never refilled drinks and took 15 minutes to bring the check, and another 10 to get the card, then , amazingly, he brings me the check again! He never ran the damned card. I had to take it to the bar to get it done. Were you high man? Also have completely disgusting bathrooms. The health dept. should just shut this place down, cleanse it by fire and someone leave it as a parking lot.

We typically love Sagebrush- Rolls are amazing and food is very good and fairly priced. However, I pulled my rating back because the service on this particular trip was terrible, my drink had to be sent back, mashed potatoes were cold (like refrigerator cold), and we couldn't get the attention of a server to help for anything.

Terrible service. Walked in got seated. Waited 10-15 min and still no one took our drink order. I made eye contact with 2 different waitresses. One serving booth behind us and one table to our left. It was not crowded. We finally just got up and left.......do not recommend.

The busted umbrella, beer bottle, and broken table outside at 4:30 should have been a warning to us! We went in to see several uncleaned tables, food on the floor, and hardly anyone else there. Another person seated themself and walked into the kitchen for a second round of rolls...I'm guessing an employee or family member not working the shift. Our waitress was not concerned about refills or details in our order. When our food came after a fairly reasonable wait only my husband's food was really good even with cold fries. I couldn't eat my steak which tasted like old hamburger. My child's steak was undercooked, my other son did seem to enjoy his burger. My boys went to the bathroom to find what appeared to be hastily mopped vomit. We will not be making this mistake again. I'll be more carefully checking scores from now on...they don't even deserve the 90 they have.

Oh boy. This was a mess. Chefs called in sick. Waitresses were cooking. The waiter just disappeared. Food and beer was lukewarm. But the shining spot was the bartender. She was polite attentive and the only one who cared.

I had the pleasure of having my Mother's Day meal at the Sagebrush in Denver NC today. They were definitely on their game today!!!! Even though they were busy we were seated quickly and my need for special seating accommodated without hesitation. Awesome service by LaShonda! I am under the impression that LaShonda does not normally wait tables and yet when the place got busy she jumped in to help. Her smile and personality made my visit feel like I was visiting with family. Not only did she take good care of us but assisted another waitress serving a table of 20 guests. Never once did I feel our table was neglected in any way! The food was fresh, cooked exactly as ordered and served in a timely manner. Shonda even accommodated making lemonade ice tea for me. It's my favorite and they don't offer this on their menu. Sagebrush really made my Mother's Day special and I will visit again soon! Thank you!

Stopped coming for about 2 years. Came back today and it was amazing! Great food and service! Must be new management. I will be back! If you haven't been in awhile I suggest you try it again!

Spotty service unless you're a regular at the bar. We were in there again and there was a male manager who was oblivious to the poor service and food. We ordered 2 ribeye steaks, medium. One was 12 oz, the other closer to 8. They were both rare. They came out with the Caesar salads that were not prepared correctly. I sent back a baked potato that was completely brown on the inside, and they had covered it up with butter and sour cream. She brought another one almost the same. We left with all the servers standing around the front talking while there were dirty dishes on the tables outside that were there when we arrived.

I'm really NOT trying to be mean. But to start with, our waitress didn't look clean. Then my daughters $30 ribs were cold. And my $20 steak was paper thin and cooked wrong! Long story short, we left and went to LONGHORN. It was AMAZING!
