Im not a picky person but I have to say that the service was extremely slow. It took well over an hour to get the food. 3 out of the 4 small plates were dirty. I had to ask them to bring clean plates. The food was ok but 3 of the 4 meals were cold.

Our second visit in five years was very consistent with our first. The steaks are fantastic and the service is great. Also enjoyed hummingbird cake for a yummy dessert. The owners are engaging and attentive as they fly through the restaurant ensuring everyone is pleased. My favorite restaurant in the area and we will return as soon as possible. Philip and Nancy
A hidden gem. - decor seems like you step back in time. Don’t let it fool you.
There were four of us and we all ordered the steak, medium rare of course. One of the best steaks. Also I ordered the squash as a a side. It was very good.
Next time we are in this area Boots steakhouse is on our list.

Had a get together here with my friends. Yes, we were late, but one of our party members showed up 5 minutes late to keep our reservation. Parking is really just unavailable, even if you show up in advance. Walking in, some staff were very disrespectful and rude towards us. They side eyed us, I didn’t feel safe. I can admit some of us were stuck trying to park, and while that may seem rude, it’s not fair to try and ruin our whole night with a sour attitude. I fear it is normal to be stuck in traffic, even if it was planned for. Most of the group showed up within 12 minutes. Some were stuck at work or traffic and could not make it until 20 minutes later. Being rude and nasty because we have our own lives but still manage to make it not too late .. It’s not professional. The price is not worth the quality of the food. The responses back from the owners are rude. It seems like they won’t be happy unless you are white and middle aged. The steak was not cooked as requested. Unfortunate and horrible experience overall. Better places with more reviews and higher ratings don’t do this kind of thing to you, but they also have more training and respect. Again, I can acknowledge the mistake we made.. but it’s not okay to be as rude and unwelcoming as they were, when other reservations were also late and not a word or nasty look was given to them. Last time I come to a tight for space, shabby, and high-priced-for-low-quality food place though. Please beware!
Answer to the response: Just because we are young does not mean you are allowed to mistreat us. We were never inconsiderate and disrespectful. You think you’re entitled to speak to us and behave with us the way you did because we were late? That is unprofessional. We were never rude to you, we were very polite and would not have minded had you canceled our reservation. Apparently, one of our members booking our reservation called in and asked if it was okay if some of our members showed up late, as they were busy. Whoever on the phone said it was fine. Please do not come to this poorly managed establishment! I’ve had my experiences in fine dining, and it’s an understatement to say this was the worst. The owner’s responses say it all, how sour and defensive they are! Save your money for some place better. I respect every food establishment and admire the hard workers trying to make our dining experience pleasant as possible, so this is really saying something with how poor your food quality, service, and attitude towards us was! The audacity to even respond the way you did tells me enough about your place! DO NOT COME HERE!! We are not the only people who have complained about their sour attitudes and aggressive hostesses, please check other reviews detailing the same!

Had my Christmas dinner here with my Asian association club. A few of the people in my group were late by five minutes. The old lady in the front was complaining that not everybody in my group was together. It wasn’t my fault that there is no parking even if you show 15 minutes early. Then constantly yelled at me two times saying if my group didn’t show up at a certain time that she was gonna have to kick me out even though my group was there they were just finding parking. The food is good, but I don’t think these prices are worth it. You could get a better steak at Texas roadhouse the rest of the staff was polite and they seem to fear this woman that I assume was her manager, but don’t eat here if you’re in a group because they are extremely rushing and try to push you out. this is my fourth time eating there and I feel like I have experienced this twice with different groups of people that I brought there. This was my experience and I am a local so hopefully this helps!

Went to Boots for our anniversary and it was a FABULOUS experience from start to finish! Our waiter Mason was friendly and on top of our service! The fried mushroom appetizer came out fresh and the dipping sauce was amazing! I had the Oscar Filet and it was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the ribeye and he said his was delicious and cooked perfectly as well! We also ordered the red velvet cheesecake and while waiting for it to come out we had a moment to speak with one of the owners Colleen- She was an absolute peach, what a darling and just as nice as she could be! And the cheesecake just WOW!
I wish I could give them a 10 star rating because they really blew it out of the water! We look forward to going back again!
