Happy to have found this place. We visited on a Thursday right as they opened so it wasn't too busy. We ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. I actually really loved the side of vegetables, they were well seasoned and tasted better than most veggies you come across at a steak house. We will be back when we are in the area again.

As previous review stated when you approach the entry way there is a sign posted that says “do not enter”. It would have been so much nicer to have said “please wait to be seated “. The hostess (with the mostest?) came to the door and in a most unfriendly manner said “how many in your party and do you have a reservation?” We just moved to the area and have been so taken with the southern hospitality but this lady did not display a warm or friendly demeanor. My family was visiting from out of town & also raised their eyes. I certainly don’t want to cost anyone a job but this lady is not meant for this position. When we got to our table which was also a bit confusing because she didn’t even say to follow her I noticed right away how dirty the floor was. There was a large dust bunny right next to our table. How do you miss that ?. Anyway the positives were that our server was very cordial and knew the menu well. The food was pretty good and this is about the only restaurant in the local area open on a Sunday. We will probably return but with the hope that southern hospitality is put into place & the floor will be cleaner. The rest of the establishment looked clean. It is a cool restaurant with a lot of charm & potential. Thank you for considering improvements upon this review. A hopeful patron ?

I went to Boots with my wife for a nice night out. It's nice, but not too fancy. The food was excellent. We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer, and steaks for dinner. It was the best steak I've had in a very long time. Perfectly cooked!

It’s a shame when the owner and wait staff ruin a meal when the food is fantastic. As locals who have visited multiple times and have never had a bad experience, tonight was disappointing. Our reservation was at 6PM and upon arrival, we were told we were late and our reservation was at 5:35PM; this went on to a brief argument with the owner. We were thankfully sat but the waitress seemed like she was rushing us. The food was great, per normal. Such a disappointment as this was a staple for locals who bring out of town family to dine on many occasions.

Do not walk, RUN. Boots is the absolute best. Especially their steak and creamed spinach I come every time we visit. one time we went three times during our one week visiting..it's THAT good! ??
