Dillsboro Chocolate Factory is a wonderful place to get your caffeine fix or keep your chocolate and/or fudge experience in check.
Sweet stop in Dillsboro! 🍫
Absolutely loved the Dillsboro Chocolate Factory! The sea salt milk chocolate caramels were out of this world — perfectly balanced and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I also grabbed ¼ lb of fudge, and it was hard to pick just one flavor with so many tempting options!
The staff made the visit even better — funny, friendly, and full of personality. You can tell they enjoy what they do, and it adds to the charm of the place. Definitely worth the stop if you’re anywhere near Dillsboro! 😋👏
The Dillsboro Chocolate Factory is a must-visit star! Their peanut butter chocolate fudge is hands-down the best I’ve ever had / rich, creamy, perfectly balanced, and melts in your mouth. You can tell it’s made with care and high-quality ingredients. The shop itself smells amazing the moment you walk in, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There’s an incredible selection of handmade chocolates, truffles, and other treats. A wonderful stop in the heart of Dillsboro!
I had a wonderful time. Great selection of teas and chocolate.
The chocolate is just very average but the price doesn’t reflect that. Expensive price tag for cheap tasting chocolate. Everything we got had a hard coating of what I would describe as cheap chocolate or even almond bark. Cute little shop and the coffee smelled great when entering and the fudge tasted great. But, as far as the handmade chocolates…not so much!
Great service and tasty snacks
Down side it is a little costly
Very quaint and interesting place to visit with tasty homemade fudge and chocolate. It doubles up as a coffee shop. I enjoyed this spot a lot we sat down and had our coffee and chocolates right there. Nice atmosphere. The products they make were very tasty. I was not a fan of the coffee though but who cares, everything else was perfect!
Coffee shop as well smells good when you walk in, dont go in the afternoon not a lot to choose from overpriced we got 5 things for $15 it was good but nothing I couldn't have bought somewhere for cheaper. But its downtown and right next to the train tracks. Good spot for business. Staff was nice.
Had a lovely time here, catching up with my siblings and eating decadent chocolates. Love the cozy seating area. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Fabulous chocolates and coffee. Perfect place if they had Gelato! But they dont!! 🤔

A bit pricey but good chocolate
Oh yeah!
We'd first visited this wonderful shop when the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad (GSMR) excursion we'd booked stopped in Dillsboro some years back. This small town is a joy to visit, and we're so glad to have discovered the Dillsboro Chocolate Factory that we've been going back every year since when staying at a cabin in Asheville. The relaxing drive is so scenic, and we always load up on copious amounts of their hand crafted delights. I'd bought a few of their coffee roasts (whole bean) during our latest visit, and it was some of the best I'd ever experienced. These weren't presented on their website, so I called them and they graciously accommodated my request after having to call me back due to having to serve the visiting GSMR train passengers from one of this season's first runs to the town. I received the package just a few days later ... which included numerous packs of insanely tasty jerky that I'd smartly included in my order ... and was really impressed with how professionally packed it was. Anyone who likes great chocolate delicacies should surely take the time to visit if they're in the area, and if you happen to also appreciate top-craft roasted coffee beans too, all the better!
My husband brought home the key lime fudge… omg. It’s just like I’m having a slice of pie so delicious and just good! Oh and the salted caramel chocolates are also everything! love my little treats!
A sweet little spot with a twist!
Walked into this adorable chocolate shop and was immediately greeted by the smell of cocoa dreams and the promise of free fudge samples (yes, FREE fudge—bless them). The chocolates looked like they belonged in a museum, not my mouth, but I bravely took on the challenge.
I ordered a London Fog, excited for that cozy tea-latte hug in a cup. The girl making it was so sweet—like, if kindness were a drink, she’d be a triple-shot caramel delight. But here’s the kicker: she forgot the tea. 😂
So there I was, sipping a warm cup of... steamed milk and vibes. Honestly, it was so cheap I thought I was getting a steal—turns out I was just getting steamed milk. Still, 10/10 for the experience, 8/10 for the drink, and 100/10 for the fudge.
Would I go back? Absolutely. But next time, I’ll BYOT (Bring Your Own Tea). 😄
