Underwhelming. Given the name I was hoping for locally sourced food. Sylva has an exceptional Farmers Market every Saturday right next to this restaurant. Loads of local meats and produce. Sadly this restaurant had extremely salty food, small portions, and the environment was loud and difficult to talk. Given the great restaurants around town I expected more.

First time eating here. Can’t beat the view sitting outside by the river. Our server was very pleasant. She kept our glass full and that is a big plus for me! We tried the Goat Burger with sweet potato tots and the fried cheese croquettes. They were both really good! We will definitely be back if we are in the area again.

Im so disappointed. This was our third visit and it will definitely be our last. We just spent $58 for a burned burger smaller than the bun with burned bacon, a very small plate of tasteless Brussel sprouts, a chicken tender and some deviled eggs. Our waitress Stephanie was terrific and the only reason I paid for this burned dinner on baby plates . I was very curious pulling up why it was almost empty on a Sunday night . My husband is literally at a fast food restaurant buying a burger while I type this and we don’t eat at fast food restaurants. What a sad night. Never again. So disappointed. I wish I had taken pics. I just didn’t want to ruin our waitress’s night too.

Delicious!!! Headed home from a weekend in Pigeon Forge. Best sprout we have ever had. Staff was awesome. Friendly and welcoming but not overbearing. Awesome side quest for brunch. Wish we lived closer to try more on the dinner menu.

I love the new location! Inside is so cute with local inspiration and outback is peaceful with the creek. They added some great items to the menu that are delicious! I had the butcher bowl and my husband had the burger special…everything was delicious!

We had an amazing dinner at Forager’s Canteen! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared with a true farm-to-table feel. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming—exactly what you hope for in a small mountain town.
A special shout-out to our exceptional waitress, Stephanie—she was friendly, attentive, and made our evening even better. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Sylva!
The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly. Sit outside to enjoy the creek and a laid back atmosphere. This sounds silly, but if you are a homemade ranch connoisseur you should definitely stop by this place. 10/10 ranch :)

We had take-out, after a very long day, and the food was absolutely Spectaular! Delicious, beautifullly presented, perfect portions, and well worth both the trip and the price!
