A yummy but understaffed tavern. Food was pretty good given what was expected. Definitely gave the bar or tavern style. The service was as good as could be expected seeing there were one 3 servers.

We were out of town and decided to give this place a try.
We had the cod fish plate and it was amazing. The jalapeño tarter sauce was so so good
Our waitress was little slow at bringing things and we asked for some shredded cheese, she never brought. She didn't even mention why she didn't or anything.

Loved the atmosphere. Our waitress was so nice. Ordered the French dip. Took one bite and sent it back. It was cold and had a horrible flavor. We were the only ones in the resteraunt when we ordered but the food still came out cold including the fries.

Bloody Mary was soo good but food not so. I ordered the Mahi tacos and tasted a bit more fishy than it should have. A bit salty too. The side dish of zucchini a squash was NOT edible. Completely a waste of money. It was so gross. Over cooked and under seasoned. Not hard to cook these veggies right. My friend got a burger well done and it was dry but you to be fair we ordered the toppings on the side so toppings on would probably be better. Fries were ok...I would not recommend eating here but go there for a cocktail! Bartenders are very nice!!@

Live here, visiting with family for the first and last time.
Table of 5 got 3 menus, took almost an hour to receive our order, and only half arrived, appetizer never did, drinks were never refilled. One of the missing meals was a hot dog for a 4 year old... which, as a previous server, I would have known to bring first to help relieve the stress of a hungry child waiting while others eat.
The food was good not great.
Very disappointed with the service! 😓

We found this hidden gem on our way to Asheville from Bryson City. The atmosphere was so quaint, service was phenomenal, and the food outstanding! Will definitely return if we're in the area again.

The food here is the best in the area hands down. Don't listen to the negative reviews from some Karen. People that ride the train are entitled and rude as a local I can’t stand when they show up.They think everyone should drop what they are doing for them.

My husband and I often go here. It’s our date night place! We love the food, the service and the atmosphere. The restuarant is always clean and friendly and the food is AMAZING!

We had a group of 6 adults. Ordered burgers and chicken tenders and it took over an hour to get food. The waitress kept coming by and telling us we were next, but other people were getting food service. Have a feeling they lost our order. When it did come, it was nothing special, sweet potatoes fries were served cold, other good was just ok. We won't be back

Waited a long time to be seated, longer to order, and almost 1/2 hour to get a salad and burger. They were out of iced tea, out of chicken and out of French fries. Waitress brought the wrong order to our table, then took it back. Restroom was gross, hit with urine smell as soon as I walked in. Thankfully the burger was amazing and cooked perfectly.

When we walked in a waitress looked over the swinging doors at us from the kitchen but it was still a full 5 mins before we were acknowledged. Then we were told to please wait 5 more mins to be seated. The waitress was nice but tried to ID my son for a MOCKTAIL? Then when we went to order we were informed that they were out of all forms of chicken and fries except sweet potatoe fries. We were sat in the middle of the only walkway from one side of the restaurant to the other. But we still had to flag down the waitress anytime we needed something because she sped by every single time she had to go from one side to the other. Not once did she stop to ask if we needed anything. Even when there were clearly empty glasses on the table. It took almost 45 mins to get our food and it was only moderately busy. We're from out of town and were very surprised at how different service is here. We were not impressed. The food was decent but not good enough to make up for poor service. The Bloody Mary was good. Not really anything else good we say though.

The restaurant and bar are in different rooms, separated by an old style saloon door. It was 4:00 p.m. and the people at the bar were singing and having a good time. Seems like a fun, local place.

French dip, burger, and pickle brined chicken sandwich were all very good. Fries were solid.

Cubano was not quite as good. Nacho appetizer was okay, but had too much going on with pickled onions and what appeared to be feta cheese crumbles.

Service was fast and very good.
