Awesome bakery! Truly some of the best cinnamon rolls and brownies we have ever eaten, and we have tried many bakeries throughout North Carolina. Add to that the friendly folks working there and you have the recipe for a great experience. Worth the trip anytime we are traveling near Dobson.

I have been getting pink lemonade cakes for my birthday since I was a little kid from Dewey's Bakery in Winston-Salem, NC. In the last few years, those cakes from Dewey's haven't been as good. Multiple people have tried to attempt a copycat of it but haven't come close to achieving this. Well, that has changed! My grandma told me Lorene's Bakery did them and wanted me to try, which I agreed but was hesitant. Let me honestly say it was the best pink lemonade cake I have ever tasted. The cake was so moist and had the best balance of sweet and tangy. It wasn't too tart, not too sweet! It's a must-try! This was my first time trying anything, but it will not be my last! Amazing customer service!! I called to ask about pricing on cupcakes for a gender reveal that would be happening the next day. They told me they would be able to take my order and have it ready by the next day! Went to the bakery the same day to place my order in person and they told me if I could wait five minutes they’d have my entire cupcake order ready for me!! Not sure if this is usual for them but 10/10 would recommend, they had my order ready within hours of me calling to ask about pricing! Will be a returning customer. Also, the cupcakes were delicious and perfectly made!!
