Ok - if yall haven’t been, or if you have been but you get sandwiches every time you go, I highly recommend you try their enormous “jumbo smoked chicken wings!”  I love their Italian, and they have great brisket and barbecue, but the “cackalacky wings” were awesome!
AND - if Steven is working and you want them spicy hot, tell Molly at the register and she will have him hook you up!
AND they have the battered fries that my wife loves so it’s a win-win!
AND - they are one of the only restaurants on the northern end of the Outer Banks open all year.
AND - a little birdie told me that sometime in March they will start having breakfast full-time as well!!!

I'll start this by saying, it's the off-season and the menu was more trimmed down. No biggie, plenty of faire to work with. So our family trudged on and ordered some burgers and barbecue sandwiches.
Let's continue with the outlandish, weird, and bad. We wanted simple water with our meal and were told that water wasn't really available and that drinks were from the cooler, but water could be provided. We ended up getting 5 mugs of water, one of which looked like somebody's personal coffee mug. Our waitress left our table mid-order to go seat more people and came back a few minutes later to finish taking our order. The food was quick and serviceable, though the BBQ pulled pork was a disaster. The buns were soggy before they even got to the table and rendered useless for eating as a proper sandwich. I've seen places toast the buns or leave the serving off the bun until served to keep the bread's integrity in tact. Neither occured here.
Overall, the food was decent enough but it was an odd visit that is hard to quite place into words.

Update Nov 2025: When I tell you that I SCARFED the bacon cheese burger down, Imean I ate it so fast I almost missed it, then was sad when it was gone. 10/10 Burger and price.
2023: So, so good. Delicious, generous salads, love the baked beans, the hush puppies are stellar and the rock and roll taco is not to be missed.
The prices are great for Duck, the online ordering platform is easy to use and convenient.

The food was amazing that's the only reason I'm giving a 5 star I would definitely eat here again but the service was very snobby from the beginning we felt like we we're a bother. It was my birthday dinner an we wanted something chill but didn't feel welcome here at all. Then we all paid an there system glitched an my Mother's ticket didn't process an they came outside 4 deep over a $20 ticket like we weren't going to pay hollering an going on very unprofessional! An after my neice walked up the ramp an paid she told the snobby man we are so sorry he just walked off. Very rude but the food was phenomenal!
Food was great and we did take out I got the Ruben and my friend got a burger we both liked it their fries are beer battered fries and they were delicious and they give you good portion sizes. The folks working there were fast and the food came out quick though we were there off season my other friend got a salad and it was perfectly fresh. This is our second time going and we still like it and will be agoing again when we come back up. Overall it was tasty filling and good service

The smoked whole wings are the best deal in OBX! Amazing flavor, tender and juicy! Add sauce as you desire from the collection on the table. The young woman serving on Mon Sept 29th around noon is amazing. So nice, friendly and proved amazing service!

Service was the best part about this place. The waitress was super nice. The brisket on the other hand was tough and a bit dry. The beans were good but the Mac& cheese was at best from some frozen chunk that was thawed out with little flavor. Atmosphere was not suited for many people..... More like a lunch deli place rather than a barbecue place. Deli is not the right word for this type of restaurant.
