My daughter and I visited last week as she loves book stores. Very nice place with super sweet staff, although they were very busy. The girl at the door even chased me down because I left without the ground coffee I purchased. It must be incredibly difficult to limit the number of patrons in a store during these busy months but the staff goes above and beyond any other store I was in on my trip to keep their staff and customers safe!!

I love going here, great book selection and amazing coffee. Unfortunately our last trip was less than satisfactory. It was early morning before the large line of visitors arrived. We were the only coffee orders in line and our drinks had to be remade not once but twice and the muffins we ordered were wrong, which we didn't even discover until later. I know everyone is working hard and this season is a struggle but as someone in a food service job, you still have to pay attention and give the customers what they ordered. Maybe I will come back in the fall if things slow down...

I had the most Amazing experience here! It’s my last day of vacation, and I wished I had stopped in here first so I could have come back every day. I got two wonderful books that were recommended by the highly knowledgeable and extremely friendly staff! Plus the iced vanilla lavender latte was to die for! Can’t wait to come back on my next visit to the OBX.

Had my first Mucky Duck yesterday, wont be my last. My blueberry muffin was very tasty. What a great find. Thank you for all the hard work during the COVID rules. I watch yesterday, as you wiped door handles, counters, and dispensers after every use. Managed crowd control, and mask requirements. We will see yall in August 2021!

Arrived in Duck, NC on Sunday and have already gotten at least one coffee per day (it’s Thursday). Coconut crunch is awesome and I’m not even a huge coconut fan. This place is very cozy/charming! Staff is super friendly. Absolutely must stop by here!

Delicious drinks and friendly service! I was very appreciative that they enforced social distancing and masks to ensure safety. They went out of their way to make drinks without caffeine for my small kids. Their drinks were even topped with rainbow sprinkles

A must stop every year we are at the OBX. We stay in Corolla and make the drive in to Duck almost daily for their amazing coffee (I love the Sugar Free Nutty Duck) and the fantastic service! We are avid readers and some of my favorite reads have been recommended by the staff there. I picked up a book at the beginning of the week that one of the girls recommended (The Silent Patient) and I read it in a day! I always have to stock up on Coconut Crunch Coffee before we head back to PA. We just left today and I already miss our daily visit.
