After exploring the town of duck via the boardwalk it was refreshing to be greeted with such a courteous staff that allowed me to sit at the bar for some time waiting on the dinner menu to become available. It was a unrushed, inviting experience that was made even better by one of the best steaks with fresh vegetables that I have had the privilege to consume. Great upscale environment, courteous staff and topped off with amazing food made for a time that I will be back soon to duplicate.

The Mahi was bland and the texture was awful. We ordered 4 different meals and didn't enjoy any of them. The crab dip and cauliflower saved the day.

Food was good. Unfortunately for quite an expensive restaurant the service was not good. The young lady at the door was quite sullen and barely gave a response on our way out after we wished her a good night. Our waiter was very rushed and gave us the overall feeling of not being able to relax or enjoy our evening. Food 4/5 but service definitely 1/5. Very disappointing.

The food was amazing!!! Beignets were divine!! Our server was the sweetest. Definitely recommend this place for dinner while visiting OBX. Waterfront view adds to the charm.

This is our favorite restaurant in Duck. We come at least once (usually twice) every time we are on the OBX. Very good food, service, atmosphere, and wine list. We usually go for lunch and sit out on the deck. There is a good selection of outdoor seating, right on the sound. We often see nutria swimming past. Indoors for the dinner service is quite loud. Limited parking in front but plenty around.

Food was delicious. Service was friendly but slow. Nice atmosphere but they need some sound dampening panels. It's so loud and makes private conversations difficult.

At least 20 spiders fell from our umbrella and onto either our heads or into the food, bonus points for service though as our waiter helped to close the umbrella harboring the eight legged vicious beasts that haunted our dining experience

We were treated well and the atmosphere was fine and lively. The NC gumbo was sausage and carrots but was very tasty. the dozen raw oysters were dry (like they were shucked earlier and stored in refrigerator), had shells in them and the meat was still connected to the shell. We sent them back - The oysters were comped and I appreciate that.

This little hole in the wall (jk, definitely not a hole in the wall) by the water had cars coming to and fro from the minute i stepped out my rental thru my dinner and the time it took to write this review (good hour and change).
The dinner was tasty as I would expect. I didn't think I had room for dessert and so I was making my way out. But my waiter (i think his name is Roberto? Please forgive me!) said go for the beignets and have them warm. 8 was taking them to go. They were warm when they brought them out. I stuck around just to try one. Drizzled the caramel on. First bite, I melted. Those beignets didn't even make it off the table. Happy new year.

Everything was superb! My daughter and I randomly found a restaurant after our horse tour and what a treat! We shared Mahi Street Tacos and the hamburger. Both were top notch. Best hamburger I ever had. Carlos was our server and treated us well. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, we felt very welcomed. Thank you!

My 1 star review is a warning for solo diners. I made a reservation, a week prior, for 1 person on Chrsitmas Eve.
Arrive and told my only option is at the bar. Personally, I don't like to eat at bars. Asked if they had anything else. They said that was my only option.
If the only option for solo diners is the bar, it should state that or don't accept reservations for 1 person.

Was a cold rainy Sunday night and everything was closed except this restaurant. We were treated to a wonderful meal with one fantastic waitress. Evening turned out great

One of the Top 3 meals I've had in NC since moving here 8 years ago. Everything was prepared perfectly and was delicious. Our server was incredible. A perfect last meal of our mini getaway. I wish we would have found it at the beginning of our trip and we would have eaten here every night.

We had the Chef's Board and it was outstanding. Don't be afraid of this one as it will easily entertain and satisfy. Thanks from Michigan
